The Hotel Bellevue meets all the criteria for the perfect boutique hotel. Housed in a grand old house, it is furnished in a very cosy style with lots of nooks and stylish accessories. Most rooms have spacious terraces, perfect for an evening closing glass of wine on a summer night. The hotel’s bistro offers a nice selection of light but super tasty dishes, including some weekly additions. The avocado and shrimp combo was unusual but an instant hit. They make their own ice cream which are definitely also worth the try. The breakfast was also a highlight with salmon on offer, lovely pastries and a not oversweetened birchermüsli. Unlike many other hotels in Bad Ragaz, the Bellevue is also not overpriced for the quality of the service.

Sehr zentral mit eigenen Parkplätzen, die etwas weg vom Hotel sind. Nicht geeignet für Menschen die im Rollstuhl oder sonst gehbehindert sind. Es hat überall, auch in den Zimmer, grosse Absätze. Grosse Zimmer, teilweise mit Balkonen zur Hauptstrasse hinaus. Was wir gar nicht mögen, WC mit Glasschiebetüre. Zimmer sind sauber. WLAN gut und gratis. Für Fr. 240.-- pro Nacht würden wir Wasserflaschen mit Gläsern, Kaffeemaschine und Kleenextücher auf dem Zimmer erwarten. Beim Einchecken wirkte das Personal überfordert aber freundlich. Sehr schönes Restaurant und schönes Frühstücksbuffet.

Wir haben die Tage im Bellevue verbracht. Der Empfang und alles Personal sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer und Badezimmer waren angenehm gross, frisch renoviert und gemütlich. Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum von Bad Ragaz mit Balkonen zur Strasse. Das Wetter war nicht sehr warm, so dass der Balkon ungenutzt blieb. Wir haben auch in der Genusswerkstatt sehr gut gegessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken und für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.
