"I strongly advise against booking in advance because my itinerary has been changed, and I'll probably arrive there in the early morning. Considering the possibility of icy roads and the safety concerns of women driving, I couldn't cancel no matter how I tried to communicate. Even though the website showed that cancellation was possible..."

Hotel Schloss Ragaz

📍 Schloss-Strasse 1, Bad Ragaz

"My boyfriend and I buried a female friend. My friend was arranged to show up at the reception desk in the hotel room (the first building), and my boyfriend and I were arranged to be the last hotel room in a castle hotel. I went to my friend. It should be 5-8mins, super far. 👎🏻👎🏻 The hotel has no air conditioning 👎🏻👎🏻 The room has curtains, but it cannot be fully shaded. The hotel reception desk went out to take the bus, it took a few 8mins, pushed the luggage super far, and must take the bus to the train station. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 The only good thing is that the hotel has a few hot spring spas in isolation, 37 Swiss francs for 2 hours. 👍🏻👍🏻"

"Amazing experience! Such a lovely hotel with a jaw dropping setting. We drove in from Prague. Very easy to navigate and the town is beautiful. We ate a the Michelin Star restaurants. Memories was amazing but the IGNIV was odd and the food was not particularly tasty. We enjoyed our time at both the Public waters and the Private waters. Our massage was fine. The spa front desk staff were very helpful. The room was nice with a great view and nice balcony. The golf club looked amazing and lunch there was the best!"

"The hotel is a little hidden and quietly located on the Tamina. The city is about 10 minutes' walk. The rooms are conveniently furnished. The living room itself is a little older. At the entrance it smells muffy. What certainly comes through the old furniture and the tape. The bathroom has already been renovated. It is both hand seam and shower gel available. Breakfast is extensive. The reception was friendly and the staff helpful."

Esos Hotel Quelle ★★★
"Breakfast was adequate. The rooms are a bit small, especially those on the 3rd floor under the eaves. The dusting isn't done properly; there were dust bunnies stuck to the wall and dust on the kettle. There's mold in the bathroom. The mattresses have clumps of mold all over. We had a blind that couldn't be opened because the three slats were broken. The blinds could use a thorough inspection and repair. The windows could also use a thorough inspection and adjustment, or even replacement. The rooms aren't all the same in terms of TV channels. We had three rooms on the 3rd floor; one room only had the two French TSR channels, while the others had all the French channels. The fourth step on the first staircase is broken, making it very dangerous. All of this doesn't warrant 3 stars."

Hotel Tamina ★★★★
"The hotel is not in the city, it takes 40 minutes to drive to the city. There is a church next to it. The town is very quiet. There are several western restaurants downstairs at night. It is just that it is inconvenient to buy things in the supermarket because it closes very early. We went to the supermarket at around 7 o'clock and it was closed. The hotel is in the center of the town"

"This hotel suited our needs, as we wanted to explore the untourist part of Switzerland. The hotel was the first hotel we have booked on the trip app which was not prepaid. When we arrived at the hotel it was automated entry with us entering our details into a entry machine by inputting your name and locating your booking and inserting payment card. Your room key is than printed and you swipe in. The rooms are clean with a nice decor with large windows providing plenty of natural light. The beds are comfy and we slept well as located in a quite location. Maybe too quite for some as most shops where closed. There is a local pub near by with friendly bar staff. Breakfast is provided but limited with choice compared to other places we have stayed. I liked that freewater was provided in the room which was a nice gesture. Bathroom is functional with very good shower pressure."

Hotel Schloss Ragaz ★★★
"The hotel is located next to the BAD RAGAZ high-end golf club, backed by mountains, with its own garden, simple design, and free swimming pools, saunas and other leisure facilities. It is a good place for a leisure vacation. There are not many kinds of breakfast, but it is acceptable. There is no air conditioning in the room, so you have to open the window. Although the air is good, flying insects may come in, so those who are concerned should consider it carefully."

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz ★★★★★
"Large beautiful resort with probably the most impressive thermal bath I have ever seen. We loved the outside pool in the public area of the bath., where we experienced the sun rise into the cold winter sky. Service at the resort is great. Despite its size it never feels impersonal. We ate at Memories, the in-house 3 Michelin starred restaurant, and even though we are more traditionalists when it come to haute cuisine, we loved every bite there. Nice to have a sundowner at the fire place in the lobby or chat with the lovely staff at the Italian restaurant. The hotel allows pets so you also have the chance to meet lots of dogs (which I love). Overall we enjoyed staying here a lot."

Garni Hotel Torkelbündte ★★★
"I spent two nights at this small bed and breakfast hotel. Its actual name is Torkelbündte Hotel Garni. The hotel is somewhat hidden away in a quiet area. The room was clean and a good size. The bathroom/toilet was newly renovated, and there was even a kettle in the room. I slept well, and the breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly. The Tamina Thermal Baths are easily accessible on foot."
