It's the most calming place that I've been to. Tucked away in the upper mountains of Welimada this is a gem of a place. It's serene, calm and entirely awa ly from your day to day hustle and bustle! The staff should be given a special compliment in this review, Kumar, Sandaruwan, Thangeshwaran and every other staff member who works here are some of the most courteous people I have met. A special commendation goes out to Kumar for the mouthwatering food he prepared for us. The bungalow was well maintained, spot clean and mostly a happy place. I wish the bathrooms were more updated, but then again I guess you should expect the old settings when you visit places with a history. I would definitely e visiting this place again.

In 3 days stay we really enjoyed with kind hospitality & care from the staff, beautiful veiw etc.. living area is very specious & with comfortable cozy room.chef Kumar & Shiva was very helpful. Properly manager Gayan arranged new year kavili table. Thorough out we didn’t have any short comings thanks to the staff

Highly recommended! Jetwing Hoffman Bungalow Is a genuinely 5 star experience. The 150 year old English style estate feels authentic and is maintained to a high standard, while retaining it's oldeworlde charm. The staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Expect to be waited upon like royalty with tea service on the estate lawn and fine dining in the boutique dining room. The bedrooms are well appointed with a large bed, dressing table, coffee table and chairs, study bureau and plenty of storage. The estate itself is set among rolling hills overlooking tea plantations. The only interruption to the peacefulness is the chatter of native birds in the morning. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay. Loved the stay. Very well maintained place that took us back to the pristine beauty when it was built 150 years back. Only thing as good as the property is the service. Great personal touch with custom made food order. Both the chef and the service provider ( Siva) were wonderful. Felt like family. Wash water sink had a minor issue in our room and they fixed it within few minutes though it was late at night. Highly recommend.

Chef Kumar was very friendly and made delicious food. Sheva was very nice and helpful. The place was very beautiful and had great view as well as running trails.

This place is indeed a gem. An experience you must have to enjoy the planters life in the hill side of Sri Lanka. The bungalow comes with a talented cook who can do magic with cusine. From a simple black tea to a delicious dinner, the food experience is so satisfying. Fresh organic ingredients and the best vegetables and fruits full fills your taste buds. The manager, Mr. Gayan Vithanage is very attentive and a great host. The next day we went to hike the world's end and they were kind enough to pack us lunch. Such an amazing experience.

One of the best bungalows I’ve ever stayed at! More than just the place, it was the amazing team — starting with Gayan, the manager, along with Kumar and Shiva — who made our stay truly memorable. Kumar’s food was absolutely delicious, and Shiva’s support throughout was next level. We will definitely be visiting again! The facilities were excellent, and access is easy — even by car.
