Hotel located in the center of old town and maiden tower is in 50 steps. Central but very quite place.

The hotel offered clean accommodations and friendly service, with a particularly enjoyable breakfast experience. However, a disappointing incident at checkout, where the manager was involved in a taxi fare scam, completely undermined my trust. Despite the positive aspects, I cannot recommend this hotel due to this breach of integrity. After leaving my luggage at the hotel and informing the manager I was heading to the Heydar Aliyev Center Museum, he offered to help me with a taxi, despite my plan to book one myself using an app outside the old city gates. He insisted on accompanying me, which initially seemed helpful. The app showed a fare of 17 AZN, which he confirmed on his phone, but he then arranged a ride with a nearby taxi driver for 10 AZN. During the ride, I grew suspicious of the high fare, realizing later that the app had shown the Heydar Aliyev Museum outside of Baku first, not the correct museum within the city, which had a fare of only 3 AZN. It became evident that the manager was likely collaborating with the taxi driver to scam me. This experience completely eroded my trust in the hotel, leading me to thoroughly check my belongings upon return, and ultimately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

I had a really poor experience at this hotel. I made a booking late at night and then called them to ensure I could check in. Nobody answered, even though they're supposed to operate 24 hours. I arrived the next morning and asked to see the room before checking in. The room looked a bit small so I asked if I could modify the reservation to one night and based on availability, either extend or move after that. The reservation was fully refundable and changeable without any penalties at that point. This made the owner really angry and he said I must either stay 3 nights or leave entirely. He wouldn't let me stay one night and then decide. I found it quite strange. His entire behavior was petty and immature. The son, who was manning reception, was helpful, but the owner is a grumpy old man who doesn't care much about guests. He even asked that the AC be turned off in the lobby when he arrived while it was sweltering hot. Based on this, I'm glad I didn't stay at this hotel. This is an unprofessional and unpleasant owner who is uninterested in providing good service.

Супер!!! У нас был номер с балконом на 2м этаже, классно, очень атмосферный отель, балкон, локация тоже хорошая, 2 мин до девичьей башни и проспекта. Кофейня внизу, тамже завтраки были, хозяин отличный, очень приветливый и на ресепции хороший человек. Азербайджанское гостеприимство мы почувствовали. Рядом в 5 мин пешком лучшие рестораны, с вкуснейшим шашлыком , в них очереди, бронируйте стол заране, особенно вечером и в выходные. Вернёмся еще !!! Спасибо
