I checked in at 10 o'clock on the day of check-in. The front desk staff personally took me to the room. The lady was very considerate and introduced the hotel's facilities and environment to me in detail. The bed in the room was not very comfortable because it was not flat, one side was high and the other side was low, and it collapsed. And the quilt cover was not put on properly. The restaurant upstairs has a good view, the dinner tastes good, and there are many varieties of breakfast, but most of them are sweets. I asked the staff for chili sauce separately. I stayed for four days and was generally satisfied. The location is really good, and it is a three-minute walk from the subway station!

Decided to pay a little extra and go with this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the gym is good 👍. Only downside was that the pool is either too cold or too windy. Given the fact that the main recent we booked it was for the pool, it is a shame that we didn’t get to swim much! Staff are very friendly.

The Merchant Hotel is a new luxury hotel in the heart of the old town, right on a pedestrian street lined with cafes and restaurants. We had a luxurious room with a balcony and a view of the local Arbat. We had a delicious morning breakfast. The hotel employs beautiful, smiling people who treat Russians well and always meet any request of the guest.

Good location. Friendly staff. They allowed us to check out 2 hours later without extra charge. The rooms are large, but on the top floor there are windows near the ceiling, i.e. a room without a view. Poor sound insulation, constant noise. Breakfast is quite simple, but the view of the city from the restaurant is good. Among them there are many Indians, representatives of the Middle East and local residents
