"I had this mountain retreat saved in my favorites for years, and I finally decided to check it out during my recent break. I was a bit worried it might be a disappointment, but it turned out to be a perfect 10! Every staff member was so kind, patient, and always smiling. The real-time, one-on-one group chat service was a huge bonus. Duty Manager Yang Lingling was incredibly nice; anything we needed was promptly delivered by golf cart. I felt a bit bad constantly bothering the staff on the first night, but they were all so patient with every request. The hotel beds are especially comfortable – after a rainy day bath, I’d fall asleep instantly. The DIY activities like crafting, incense sachets, pottery, and handmade soaps were so fulfilling. Just before we checked out, Manager Yang Lingling even had a staff member give us a tour of the entire guesthouse and its surroundings. (Lingling always greeted us with a cheerful smile and excellent service, which was a big plus!) The young man, True, who showed us around, was very meticulous in explaining each guesthouse, and he was so kind and charming. Standing on the mountain top, I was truly impressed by the owner's vision. I hope for good weather on my next visit so I can experience the Land Rover again! 😍"

"Needless to say, the room is in the loft, the room layout is very nice with its own balcony and attic, the floor-to-ceiling windows in front of the main bed face the mountain view bamboo forest, the environment is very good! The package has a roof private soup and afternoon tea, because we were about the evening time and a little rainy atmosphere, and the photos were very good. Finally, I said that the boss service is very good. When we finally left, we wanted to go to the town to eat. The boss couldn't call the car and helped us take a taxi for free. The wallet was left in the room and sent it to us personally. In short, 10 stars praise!"

"Better than I expected! The cabin suite was cozy and clean, and the service was excellent. I forgot things twice and they were quickly retrieved for me, and toiletries were replenished very promptly. The shuttle service was always on time, making getting around super convenient.
The on-site facilities were enough to keep my kids entertained for two days, though I did think the 'Flying Shuttle' ride was a bit pricey, haha.
The park environment is also lovely, lush and green with mountains and water. It would be amazing to stroll around in autumn.
Dining options are also comprehensive, so there's no need to leave the park.

We stayed in a family room with two large beds and a separate partitioned bedroom, which was ideal for families with elderly members or multiple children. The sleeping areas were separated, making it very convenient to keep an eye on the kids. There's a ball pit and a children's slide castle for the kids to play in, while adults can enjoy billiards, mahjong, and board games. You don't even need to go out to visit attractions; you can easily spend an entire day relaxing at the B&B."

"The B&B's location is a bit of a downside; it's not in the scenic area, nor is it close to Yucun. However, if you're traveling by car, it's not an issue at all, just a ten-to-fifteen-minute drive. The service was excellent; they added me on WeChat early on and were always quick to answer any questions. We decided to hike the Jiang Gong Ancient Trail to the top of Moganshan with my dad on New Year's Day morning. We started at 7 AM and reached the summit by 8 AM. We were incredibly lucky to see a snowy landscape that morning, and even better, the sun came out around 9 AM, turning the sky a beautiful sapphire blue. PS: The EV charging fee is a bit high, surprisingly 1.9 yuan per kWh."

"This is definitely a guesthouse I'll be returning to. It's incredibly pet-friendly; I forgot dog food and pee pads, and the front desk provided them for me. Since it was off-season, they upgraded my room. The room was huge, beautifully designed, and felt very secure, plus it had a large, comfortable balcony.
I'd seen reviews saying the pool water was dirty and the playground slide was broken, but I found that wasn't the case at all. The pool water was very clean, just had a few fallen leaves. The playground slide was quite fun, and the tire for the slide was new, not broken. You can even bring your dog to play there.
There are bicycles and electric scooters available at the guesthouse entrance. Riding around was quite enjoyable. It's also very convenient for dining and exploring nearby areas, with Yu Village just a 10-15 minute drive away. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant. We arrived in the afternoon when the chef was sleeping, but they specially woke him up to make us noodles. The service is truly exceptional."

"A fantastic experience! The service was excellent. The environment was truly beautiful, but due to its location, there aren't many dining options nearby, so a car is essential. This was a bit inconvenient for us as we're not very confident drivers. On the other hand, the hotel's restaurant had amazing food and a great ambiance! I've already recommended it to several friends on social media. My suggestion for the hotel would be to improve the in-room amenities such as the mini-bar, refrigerator, wine glasses, ice bucket, and tea set. Otherwise, it's hard to store any food or drinks you bring back."

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

I was stunned when I entered the room. It's so beautiful! The door is usually closed, and the privacy is also very good. The owner is very attentive. He has a one-to-one WeChat for each guest, and customized breakfast for us to run the race. The meal started at 6 o'clock. I came alone, but I felt very warm~

Mogan Ziling Villa focuses on the privacy and humanistic temperature of mountain scenery, especially suitable for family outings or friends gatherings that pursue a sense of quality.
Hidden in the green mountains and bamboo seas of Ziling Village, it is a veritable ”natural forest oxygen bar”. The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity.
The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort.
”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. Afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite and ceremonial. The villa owner, Mr. Wang, is very talkative and caring. Dinner is a private dish with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai tastes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic.
Would recommend family and friends to stay again!

This was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

Anonymous UserIt was a truly delightful trip, relaxing and unwinding throughout. Aside from the accommodation, which was booked in advance, everything else was spontaneous, and we spent most of our time quietly resting.
The B&B is run by a mother and daughter. They are warm and friendly, and their genuine love for life is evident. They even patiently opened the parking barrier for us time and time again. Both breakfasts were perfectly suited to my taste, and I enjoyed them slowly on my own. On my last day, I even received a lovely gift.
I had planned to try wax sealing and visit the old house during the last half day, but it was crowded with people taking photos, so I didn't bother. The owner's thoughtful reminder upon departure was incredibly thoughtful.
I even brought my 8-year-old dog with me, and got to know the B&B's ”locals”: Boss Ha, also 8, and Little Potato, 9 months old. Harry prefers quiet time and often sleeps inside; Little Potato is lively and hospitable, and especially loved playing with my dog—I captured many adorable moments with them.

Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

Guest UserThe room was decent, and the service was really attentive. The shuttle buses were always on time and very careful! I'm quite satisfied. My only suggestions are: I think it would be even better if the Western restaurant had a dedicated sandpit with fine sand for the kids to play in. Also, the pet park seemed to have fewer interactive small animals than expected. We didn't have suitable bikes to ride this time; it would be great if there were options for two adults and one child (with a protected baby seat). I'm just mentioning this because I saw many families with young children, so these options would be really helpful. Overall, the environmental and ecological aspects are excellent! 👍

RyanShanghaiWe recently stayed at Moganshan Mountain Villa for one night and had a very enjoyable experience overall.
The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by stunning scenery that really allows you to appreciate the natural beauty of Moganshan. The interior of the hotel is also very pleasant, with comfortable and well-maintained facilities that make for a relaxing stay.
The staff were helpful throughout our visit and were always willing to assist when needed. At times, however, some staff members came across as a little blunt. A warmer, friendlier approach and a few more smiles would help create an even more welcoming atmosphere for guests.
There are also a couple of areas where the hotel could be improved. An outdoor table tennis table would be a great addition and would provide another enjoyable activity for guests. Additionally, my girlfriend got a splinter in her foot around the pool area, so it may be worth checking the surfaces there to ensure they are safe and well maintained.
Despite these minor points, we had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. The location is fantastic, the surroundings are beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep.
However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
