We stayed as a couple, the manager Govinda was amazing, view was amazing! Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very well behaved. So no complaints and amazing experience for us even though it was only for one night.

Rooms weren’t worth the price. The food was good. Staff are friendly. Sadly, it was overcast so didn’t see the epic views, but the terrace is lovely and would be the ideal spot to see the snow capped mountains.

Very nice and cozy hotel. Very nice and tasty food. All the staffs are very welcoming, professional and polite, specially the resident manager Mr. Govinda Luitel he's very kind, helpful and caring. Very clean room and restaurant. Will definitely visit next time and highly recommend this place.

I was here in this place 3rd November 2024, My rating for this place is below average ,been to most of the top rated places in Nagarkot have to say this place they only have tables for Foreginers as they are linked to some travel agencies and are faking costumers to that place but i want to tell them as well there is plenty of very very nice Hotels in Nagarkot with good views and space. The only thing good in this place is the floor manager ,very hospitable but when u go down to the kitchen and dining comes the most arrogant bald guy who thinks he is the deal my sincere request for him first get a list of your costumers whats is the capacity how many people should be there are there any children accompanying ,learn to be hospitable in your profession please have some respect some manners inside your bald head ,learn how to talk to costumers and guide your staffs to improve your food Mr Baldy . We visited Hotel Himalayan Villa in September 2024 on our way to Chitwan, Nepal. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Govinda Luitel, a well presented gentleman who welcomed us, made us comfortable and showed us to the patio overlooking the forest. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff very friendly. Our rooms were clean, specious and comfortable. We had our own balcony overlooking the sunrise. After dinner, we hang out on the patio, enjoying the sounds of the forest beneath us. We were hoping to see their incredible views of the sunrise the next morning, but it was cloudy and raining. Nevertheless we got some incredible views of the mountains and even though the sunrise was not there in all the glory we were expecting, the staff and the tranquility of the hotel made up for it. Our next visit to Nepal we would love to spend more time in this incredible hotel nested in the clouds. Highly recommend a 3-4 day stay there.

The drive from Kathmandu was good, and the temperature change was evident even in April. The last few hundred mtrs of the final drive to reach the hotel were bit curvy, but the roads are paved. All the rooms have a view of the valley and the morning sunrise the best from the terrace outside the sitting lounge on the main level. Try to catch the sunset as well and then the next sunrise. Get your seat by 5am and the sun will rise from somewhere below... that is how amazing it appears. Food was good, buffet style in the restaurant below. Try to get rooms on the top terrace as the view is very good from there. There are a few other lounges or restaurants nearby that cater to parties and dance.
