"Edgewater is a very large resort about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although we arrived at 7:30 am, they stored our bags and we were given full use of their facilities plus breakfast until check in time. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting next to the beach which has white sand areas and great snorkelling reefs. There was a good variety of food and we enjoyed all our meals. We often shared a meal as they can be quite large servings & we took advantage of the happy cocktail hour between 5 6 pm each day where cocktails are $12 ea. Our king bed room was spacious, clean and serviced each day of our one week stay. However, our room was very close to the pool, restaurant and events hut so we could hear the pool noise and the nightly live music. Luckily all noise ceased at about 10 pm. You also have to be prepared for the early morning crowing of the resident roosters! Dogs, cats & chickens roam freely around the resort and are just an integral part of Cook Is life. The resort has a full tour booking service which we us used. All transfers, taxis and the local island buses pulled into the resort on time. There are so many activities on offer at the resort, e g, island dancing, ukulele, sarong tying, cooking lessons and free fire and cultural shows that you could just spend a lot of time here. Our stay was to celebrate my wife's birthday and the staff did that in style with a special free cocktail and canapes evening for guests celebrating special occasions and for loyalty guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edgewater and would recommend it to family and friends."

"Everyone here is very welcoming and friendly! Some people always mistake us for Japanese or Koreans, but there are people in China who like to travel and enjoy the world just like us! In short, I have fallen deeply in love with the Cook Islands, and I love everything here!"

"The hotel is right next to Little Polynesian, convenient location, you can take the bus to the town, the beach is very beautiful, can enjoy the ocean view directly from room. The room is clean, with cutlery and a kettle, but the bath water is not stable."

"We had two rooms for our family. The beach suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the lagoon. The beach was so calm and beautiful. We loved the kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was good but after a few days we were sick of the menu. Luckily the location is great and you can walk to other restaurants."

"The resort is good, the local popular one, 3k a night is still quite expensive, the price is generally the same, although the best beach and the lake on the main island, but it is still completely incomparable with the outlying island, it is OK to stay for one night."

"Everything is expensive when you travel to the Cook Islands. The so-called buffet breakfast here is just bread, cereal, instant coffee, and one or two types of fruit. Everything else costs extra. However, the environment is quite nice. The beach to the right of the hotel is a great spot for snorkeling, with lots of fish."

They were all kind, friendly and considerate, and remembered everyone's name. My pedicure & massage were also wonderful. We are definitely returning for another visit."

"For our stay of 1 week in the garden Villa was everything you need on the ground. A kitchen with all the tools you need to self-service were available. Breakfast is sufficient.. There were toast, musli, fresh fruit, yoghurt and 2 different juices. A few times still bananas smoothie.. everything in everything a good stay."
