During your free time, you can go to the gym to exercise, or sit down in the lobby to make a pot of Pu'er, taste the special freshly ground local coffee, leisure facilities are all available, and the experience of staying is excellent!"

"The first established hotel as you enter the mountains, with plenty of parking spaces right across the street, which is very convenient. It's a bit far from the attractions, so you'll need a car. They offer butler-style service; they'll contact you the day before to provide the address, travel tips, and other information. The hotel has a good variety of activities planned, including roasted milk tea, stir-fried melon seeds, and bonfires in the evening. The hotel's dinner was just okay, with plenty of room for improvement. Breakfast on the rooftop had a great ambiance and taste. The rooms aren't luxurious but are perfectly adequate. The air conditioning was a bit old and didn't heat very well. I didn't have time to experience the travel photography session. It was really expensive during Chinese New Year, haha."

"This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review even before checking out. Let's start with the issues:
1. I called ahead to change my afternoon tea time and to book a morning activity. The lady who answered said she would confirm and call me back, and she took my number. I never received a call back before check-in. Luckily, my request was noted on the reservation.
2. After checking in, I was told there was a tea experience available on the second floor. The bellhop who brought my luggage said there was a voucher for it, but the front desk hadn't given me one (I'm not sure if it was actually needed). After helping with my bags, he enthusiastically offered to bring the voucher to my room. I even said it was okay if I didn't get it, but he insisted he would deliver it. Well... he never came back, no voucher, and no tea experience for me. Haha.
3. And then things got even more ridiculous. I had booked a Ba Duan Jin (a type of Qigong) session for 9-9:30 AM. I asked at the restaurant and was told it was on the second floor? They told me to ask at the front desk. At the front desk, they said it was on the fifth floor of another building and that I needed a shuttle bus to get there. Once we arrived, there was nothing there. Then they said it was on the first floor or maybe even the basement of the *original* building? A man came out and offered to walk us back... I told him we'd take the shuttle. After going back, another front desk staff member said it was on the second floor? They seemed quite reluctant but eventually led us there. Finally, we found the right place, did about ten minutes of it, and it was over. It was absolutely ridiculous; they really had no idea what was going on.
4. For a suite costing over 2800, having an obstructed view deserves a bad review (see images 1 and 2 below). It also didn't seem to be 100 square meters.
5. The service doesn't match the price. Many services weren't available, and there's nothing much around the hotel. The staff's service level isn't good; their attitude is pleasant but their professionalism is lacking.
6. The concept is excellent, the decor style is nice, and the space is large and aesthetically pleasing."

After staying at this guesthouse perched atop a high point in Huimin Town for several days, I'm now checking out and leaving, feeling incredibly reluctant to leave. This is probably the most unique guesthouse I've stayed in all my years of travel.
First, the location: the guesthouse is situated on a high point in town, offering a superb view. You can see the sunrise right outside your window in the morning, and watch the sunset from the courtyard in the evening. When the afterglow falls, your heart is filled with peace.
But what truly makes this place different is the owner, Sister Qian. She can drive to pick up and drop off guests, and she can also cook a delicious meal in the kitchen—she really will personally drive you to and from the guesthouse, chatting about local customs and culture along the way, as naturally as an old friend. Back at the guesthouse, she'll disappear into the kitchen, and every dish she brings out is so delicious you'll want to lick the plate clean. My stomach was taken care of, and my heart was warmed. How could a place like this not keep guests? By the way, this place is pet-friendly. Although there's a 50 yuan cleaning fee, the attention to hygiene completely put my mind at ease as someone with a furry friend—the room had deodorizing spray and a vacuum cleaner, and the floors and linens were spotless, completely free of odors and pet hair. It's so much better than many places that claim to be ”pet-friendly” but are just going through the motions.
In short, this guesthouse, which satisfies both the soul and the stomach, is worth a stay for everyone. Thank you, Sister Qian, see you next time."

"Exceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave !

A stay at the Jingmai Mountain Bailian Hotel offers quality comparable to the Four Seasons! The Four Seasons in Chiang Mai has seen its prices rise from under 3000 to over 7000, while the Bailian in China boasts an excellent environment without raising prices – truly a bargain.
Recommended hotels on Ctrip, such as Chongzuo LUX*, Dunhuang Dongyi, Xiangshawan Lotus, and Kruger Luxury Camp, are all reliable and have provided excellent experiences!
The Lancang Bailian Hotel opened in 2011 and has fewer reviews, but it consistently ranks at the top of Ctrip's Jingmai Mountain list. Based on Ctrip's reputation, it was definitely a great choice! Bailian is the pioneering luxury hotel in Jingmai Mountain, introducing the area to the world! The Ctrip package I found was very cost-effective, including dinner and tea cake making (tea cakes alone cost over 300). My child had a fantastic experience and even gained writing material; it also included a photo shoot at a local restaurant, with results comparable to the Platinum Hotel. I recommend booking a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for a more fulfilling experience. I stayed one night at Liushi and one night at Bailian.
Ctrip customer service even helped me communicate with the hotel in advance. It happened to be my birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared children's amenities and a cozy turndown service – the attention to detail was impeccable!
During dinner, my child accidentally choked on a fish bone in the pickled fish. Around 11 pm, the front desk immediately brought over white rice, thankfully without any serious injury.
A small suggestion: For families with children, try to avoid fish with bones for dinner. Pork hock soup would be a better option, and my child especially loved it.
The entire hotel blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and mist. Staying in a natural oxygen bar is both secluded and therapeutic – definitely worth it!
Service: The staff at the front desk, including Mr. Zhou, as well as Guiping, Xiao Chen, Xiao Luo, and Awa, were incredibly responsive and helpful!
Traditional Pu'er Tea Cake Making: Zhou Yan, who guided my child in making tea cakes, was clearly very patient, giving my child a wonderful tea-making experience. I will definitely choose Bailian again if I have the chance to visit Heshun in the future."

"The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!"

"Service: I added the owner on WeChat beforehand, and she recommended a very reliable driver for a shared ride. I was picked up by the driver right after getting off the plane. It was hassle-free and convenient; they took me directly to the hotel entrance and even helped with my luggage – so thoughtful!
Facilities: It's amazing to find a guesthouse like this in the mountains. Both the decor and the amenities have a simple yet sophisticated feel.
Environment: Located near the broccoli trees, it feels like the highest point in the village. The view is exceptionally beautiful."

GGuest UserThis is my favorite courtyard house in recent years. It's not the kind of home that hotels can give you; I just love it so much. It's a pity it was fully booked and I couldn't stay longer, but I will definitely come back and stay for a full week. The owners are such wonderful people; only they could have decorated such a beautiful courtyard. They are incredibly attentive, always asking if you want something to drink or if you're hungry. There's also a lovely and gentle little girl named Xiaoyue. Staying in this courtyard made me not want to go anywhere else; I just wanted to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the beauty.

It is better than what I drink outside. I can’t help but drink three cups of dinner. When I came to travel alone, I was enthusiastic. The invitation to eat together made me feel the warmth of the home. The view of the observation deck on the balcony is very wide. You can see the buildings of the ancient village. There is also a swing. Hahaha. You can bring children to play. The best thing is that the room has a separate tea room. Taking pictures and drinking tea is more privacy.  Design Very careful!

GGuest UserThe most delightful surprise of this Jingmai Mountain trip was the guesthouse!! Since we were in Nuogan the day before and wanted to see the sunrise in Manghong the next day, and also wanted to visit Wengji in between, we opted for Mangjing as a compromise because we were worried about driving in the dark. It turned out to be the perfect choice!! Located at the northernmost tip of Mangjing Upper Village, it enjoys a secluded view with very few tourists. The area is mostly comprised of villagers' own houses; it's a two-story detached house with two bedrooms, each with double beds. There are two bathrooms with showers upstairs and downstairs. The wooden cabins aren't particularly warm, but that's what you'd expect from a typical mountain guesthouse. Thankfully, there's a heater, so it's fine if you're worried about the cold. There's plenty of sunlight during the day, and the toiletries are all excellent. The first floor is the owner's sewing studio; she taught herself to sew and sells her clothes in Nuogan. There are also many finished garments available for guests to take photos. There's a small restaurant opposite with a beautiful view!! You can see the sea of clouds in the morning, and after it clears up at noon, there's a sunset in the evening (but the sunset isn't directly overhead; if you want to see the exact direction, you still need to go to Manghong). There's a local market on weekends right at the village entrance. If you come on a weekend, I suggest not driving in; you can park up and walk down, otherwise you won't be able to get out of the market by car. Driving to the octagonal pagoda in Manghong to watch the sunrise is only ten minutes, very convenient. The roads in Manghong are all very easy to drive on. My sister makes breakfast fresh every day, and it's delicious! The banana milkshake is super delicious!!! The tamarind coffee is also purer than other places. The scenery is truly beautiful, and there are fewer people, perfect for wasting time. I'll definitely go again!! I want to try the banana milkshake again!
