"If you come to Lancang, you must choose this store. It is really a treasure store. We also passed by Lancang and chose this store. The breakfast is very rich. I didn't expect to provide Chinese food. Many stores are closed on the first day of the New Year. Thank you for the boss. Chinese food, very friendly to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai children! Tomato scrambled eggs, green garlic fried meat slices, etc., the front desk lady to the restaurant aunt are very polite and friendly! Happy New Year, I hope this store owner will make a fortune!"

"The first established hotel as you enter the mountains, with plenty of parking spaces right across the street, which is very convenient. It's a bit far from the attractions, so you'll need a car. They offer butler-style service; they'll contact you the day before to provide the address, travel tips, and other information. The hotel has a good variety of activities planned, including roasted milk tea, stir-fried melon seeds, and bonfires in the evening. The hotel's dinner was just okay, with plenty of room for improvement. Breakfast on the rooftop had a great ambiance and taste. The rooms aren't luxurious but are perfectly adequate. The air conditioning was a bit old and didn't heat very well. I didn't have time to experience the travel photography session. It was really expensive during Chinese New Year, haha."

"The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!"

"I drove alone from Xishuangbanna to Jingmai Mountain. I didn't have high expectations for a guesthouse at this price, but after one night, I wanted to stay another night! 🥹 1. Pet-friendly: I brought my dog, and the owner even welcomed the puppy and asked if I had brought dog food—super thoughtful! 💕 (The guesthouse has a dog named ”Dian Dian,” who is incredibly cute and gentle. She took me to the mountain in the morning and even showed me her newborn puppies 🥰) 2. Comfortable environment: The owner has impeccable taste; the bedding is top-notch! The bathroom has a smart toilet and a super comfortable shower 🚿; no need to worry about it being cold on the mountain at night, the owner's place has central air conditioning 😎. And you absolutely must try sleeping on their pillows! I'm really picky about pillows, and after one night, I immediately asked the landlady where she bought hers! 🤣 3. Great value: I specifically went to check out all the guesthouses on Jingmai Mountain, but they were all so expensive, cold, small, and smelly. I feel like I couldn't find another place like this landlady at this price and in this environment. 🤪 She was also incredibly patient when I called her if I had any questions. Actually, there's so much more I wanted to say… I came alone, and the landlady even invited me to have dinner with her family, which really touched me… Although I'm just a tourist, I'm sure if I have the chance to come back again, I'll definitely come back! See you next time! Definitely!"

"In Jingmai Mountain, time isn't measured in hours, but in 'cups of tea.' Staying here for two days felt like being cleansed by the mountain mists. I woke up to watch the sea of clouds spill over the tea plantations, spent afternoons on the terrace sipping tea and daydreaming, and in the evenings, watched the sunset paint the distant mountains gold. The room was spacious, and every window offered a picturesque view. The wellness experience here is wonderful—it's not a forced 'healing' but rather a natural process that helps you slow down. The most unforgettable moment was a morning after the rain, with the air filled with the scent of tea and earth. In that instant, I felt that life is truly worth living."

"The treehouses at Ctrip Holiday Farm boast breathtaking, elevated views, offering a sweeping panorama of the terraced fields and farmland below. The scenery is truly idyllic. Inside, the treehouses feature new, modern facilities and are impeccably clean. The entire staff is incredibly warm and hospitable, always going above and beyond to assist guests. A special commendation goes to staff member Zhao Zhen, who personally guided us to the adjacent Laodabao village. His passionate and professional explanation of the Lahu ethnic minority's history was delivered with such eloquence that it left a profound and memorable impression on us."

Hidden among green mountains in a mist-wreathed Pu'er tea garden, the Jingmai Brilliant Resort and Spa (Jingmai Bolian Jingpin Jiudian) has a peaceful atmosphere with fragrance of tea floating in the air. "Experience the beauty of Southeast Asia without leaving the country, and even more so! This is Pu'er, the birthplace of world tea culture. A stay at the Jingmai Mountain Bailian Hotel offers quality comparable to the Four Seasons! The Four Seasons in Chiang Mai has seen its prices rise from under 3000 to over 7000, while the Bailian in China boasts an excellent environment without raising prices – truly a bargain. Recommended hotels on Ctrip, such as Chongzuo LUX*, Dunhuang Dongyi, Xiangshawan Lotus, and Kruger Luxury Camp, are all reliable and have provided excellent experiences! The Lancang Bailian Hotel opened in 2011 and has fewer reviews, but it consistently ranks at the top of Ctrip's Jingmai Mountain list. Based on Ctrip's reputation, it was definitely a great choice! Bailian is the pioneering luxury hotel in Jingmai Mountain, introducing the area to the world! The Ctrip package I found was very cost-effective, including dinner and tea cake making (tea cakes alone cost over 300). My child had a fantastic experience and even gained writing material; it also included a photo shoot at a local restaurant, with results comparable to the Platinum Hotel. I recommend booking a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for a more fulfilling experience. I stayed one night at Liushi and one night at Bailian. Ctrip customer service even helped me communicate with the hotel in advance. It happened to be my birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared children's amenities and a cozy turndown service – the attention to detail was impeccable! During dinner, my child accidentally choked on a fish bone in the pickled fish. Around 11 pm, the front desk immediately brought over white rice, thankfully without any serious injury. A small suggestion: For families with children, try to avoid fish with bones for dinner. Pork hock soup would be a better option, and my child especially loved it. The entire hotel blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and mist. Staying in a natural oxygen bar is both secluded and therapeutic – definitely worth it! Service: The staff at the front desk, including Mr. Zhou, as well as Guiping, Xiao Chen, Xiao Luo, and Awa, were incredibly responsive and helpful! Traditional Pu'er Tea Cake Making: Zhou Yan, who guided my child in making tea cakes, was clearly very patient, giving my child a wonderful tea-making experience. I will definitely choose Bailian again if I have the chance to visit Heshun in the future."

"As a business traveler who frequently goes on trips, this guesthouse offered me a whole new work and relaxation experience. The fast and stable Wi-Fi allowed me to handle urgent business matters at any time, while the peaceful environment and beautiful scenery greatly inspired my creativity. During breaks between meetings, standing on the terrace and gazing at the mountains in the distance made my thoughts incredibly clear. This place is far more relaxing and inspiring than a typical business hotel. It's particularly suitable for teams needing a creative breakthrough or for high-end business hospitality."

"I booked this guesthouse a month in advance! 😄 It's more convenient to drive there; it's located at the end of an alley. You can watch the sunset, the sea of clouds, and the stars in the courtyard 💫 You can chat with the owners, the older folks, drink roasted milk, eat soy milk, snack on sunflower seeds, and enjoy Pu'er tea. You can even wear Bulang ethnic clothing for free and wander freely through Manghong Mangjing Wengji Village… There are two rooms. The beds are low and soft, but very comfortable and warm. The only downside is the dim lighting 🤣 It's very quiet around here; not many chickens are crowing, haha. By the way, there's a Bulang home-style restaurant nearby that's also quite good, and the sunset there is beautiful too!"

It is highly recommended to come to Jingmai Mountain to live in dried bamboo shoots, especially this homestay. The boss is very enthusiastic, attentive and hardworking, and respects the privacy of the guests. Although drinks and simple meals are sold outside, they do not entertain foreign guests until we wake up. The insect repellent and hygiene of the room are excellent, and it is so clean that I can't feel living in the mountains. Compared with the smell of construction sites and burning charcoal everywhere in Manghong, the dried air is very fresh, and all the places are hanging wooden houses where the villagers' ancestors lived. In the morning, I naturally woke up and went out to enjoy the boss's homemade Cantonese breakfast. It is the authentic taste of the 26-year old Guangzhou food certification. The glutinous rice chicken is fragrant, the beef blinds are crispy, and the fried tomato scrambled eggs (the eggs here are really fragrant). After half a year of work, it is a good choice to come and spend annual leave. The spare parts of the homestay are also quite thoughtful, the slippers are separated from wet and dry, there are local tea farmers' ancient tree tea samples for free, and there are even big-name sunscreen and grass paste! There are green plants (but no mosquitoes) everywhere in the room, and there is a Marshall speaker at the bedside. The mattress is a relieving layer of memory cotton, soft and supportive; even the window frame is also a finely polished solid wood feeling... The whole homestay can reflect the boss's aesthetics of indoor space and his intentions for guests everywhere. I really hope that the boss can have a prosperous business, but I don't want to be too hot in my private heart. I am afraid that I will not be able to book a room in the future hahaha. I hope that I can stay in Xitang next time I come to Yunnan to play!

Service: I added the boss's WeChat in advance, and recommended the carpooling master to me. I was received by the master as soon as I got off the plane. It’s great to not toss and trouble, send it directly to the hotel door, and help with the luggage box. Facilities: It is really great to have this kind of environment on the mountain. Whether it is layout or equipment, it feels simple and advanced. Environment: At the entrance of the broccoli tree, it feels like the highest point of the stockade. The scenery is particularly good.

This was absolutely one of the most delightful accommodation experiences I've had in recent years! If you're tired of the same old hotels and looking for a truly soulful place where you can find peace and quiet, this is the place for you. 1. The ambiance is amazing, no filters needed for photos: Stepping into the guesthouse, time slows down. The house retains its original structural beauty, the wood grain and color telling a story. The lighting design is particularly thoughtful, not the harsh white lights, but multi-layered, warm-toned soft light sources. At night, the entire room is filled with a warm and tranquil atmosphere, blending seamlessly with the natural sounds outside (wind, insects) – it's truly therapeutic! Just sitting in the room drinking tea and chatting made all our stress disappear. 2. A surprisingly restful and warm sleep: Before going, I was worried the old house would be cold, but it was completely unnecessary! The electric heater provided by the host was powerful enough; turning it on a little while beforehand made the whole room cozy and warm. The best part was the electric blanket; the bliss of snuggling into bed was indescribable! The blanket was fluffy and dry, ensuring a good night's sleep. This genuine warmth was far more comfortable than the dry air of air conditioning. 3. Attention to detail shines through – clean and thoughtful: Although the style was rustic, the cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. Every corner was spotless, and the bedding and towels had a fresh, sun-dried scent. The hot water in the bathroom was strong and consistent, with no lack of modern conveniences. The host even thoughtfully provided [a good book and local tea], making us feel exceptionally cared for. 4. The interaction with the host was a bonus: The host didn't feel like a business owner, but more like a friend sharing their life. They not only gave us a detailed introduction to the house's story but also recommended hiking trails known only to locals and a super authentic family-run restaurant, instantly elevating the depth of our trip! This kind of personal connection is something hotels can never provide. In summary: This isn't a standard ”product,” but a small home where you can immerse yourself for a few days. It doesn't strive for luxury, but offers emotional value, unique memories, and genuine relaxation. We've already planned to bring another couple of friends next time to enjoy this rare tranquility and beauty together.
