"This hotel was the best one I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Yunnan. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly at home. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff immediately offered me hot flower tea. They thoughtfully informed me about the rooftop hot spring's opening hours and enthusiastically recommended local delicacies. They even brought the afternoon tea, which we had missed, to our room, really showcasing the excellent service in Tengchong. After checking in, we went to the restaurant recommended by the front desk and then enjoyed the rooftop hot spring. The hot spring water was incredibly comfortable – my body doesn't lie! That night, I slept soundly and deeply, and my skin felt so smooth and improved. In the evening, the front desk sent up two bowls of tremella soup. Another heartwarming gesture! On the day of checkout, the front desk staff kindly asked if we had breakfast and even gave us a souvenir when we left. If my itinerary hadn't been pre-arranged, I would have definitely stayed an extra day in Tengchong just for this hotel."

"We are a group of 12 Malaysian who spent 5 days 4 Nights at Tengchong. The lady boss - 素素 is very nice and friendly. The hotel provided airport transfer and was picked up by the lady boss personally. Rooms are big and with all amenities. Location of the hotel is also quite convenient. Nearby a lot of local restaurants. Right opposite the hotel is the bus station where we could book or charter bus to travel back to KunMing. Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpfully. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel could arrange for our local tour to TengChong and 芒市 tour at a very reasonable package tour."

During leisure time, you can relax in the courtyard tea room, sip tea, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city, fully immersing yourself in the unique tranquility of this old house. Breakfast features authentic local ingredients, offering a true taste of the region. Unlike typical 'influencer-style' guesthouses, this place carries a profound sense of history. It's a truly unforgettable experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"My ten-day trip to Yunnan ended yesterday. This is the first time I've written a review without the hotel's request. Shixi was the second guesthouse I stayed at during my Yunnan trip. The guesthouse gave us so many surprises. We originally booked one night, but because we and two other friends loved it so much, we extended our stay for another day. Entering the guesthouse felt like entering a flower-filled embrace. The reception, bar, lobby, reading room, restaurant, and tea room were all decorated with flowers. The guesthouse's decor was very stylish, the rooms were spacious and bright, the facilities were modern and clean, and we could even soak in the hot spring in our rooms every night. The coffee was delicious, and the afternoon tea and snacks were also excellent. The owners were quiet but very welcoming. When my friend and I needed to send a package home, we didn't have our reading glasses with us, and the owner's wife proactively came over to help us with our phones. We bought some local goat milk fruit at the morning market, but it tasted astringent. The owner's wife explained that it needed to be scalded with boiling water to remove the astringency, saying that locals usually scald the fruit and then eat it with salt, sugar, and chili powder. Then they scalded the fruit for us and gave us salt, sugar, and chili powder. It was indeed delicious."

"[Super five-star recommendation! The perfect station in Heshun Ancient Town] This stay at Heshun Yushe Panjing Inn is really a small luck on the trip! The owner's sister and brother are as kind as family. Not only did they help us plan the parking space in advance, but also prepared a super practical play map according to local characteristics. The recommended copper yak beef has been endless aftertaste. The 180° panoramic room is bright and spacious, the log furniture and the national style soft decoration complement each other, and the bedding is soft enough to make people fall asleep in seconds. The most pleasant surprise is the freshly cooked bait silk for breakfast, which perfectly opens up a day of vitality! The location of the inn is a gold C, a 3-minute walk to the century-old food street, and the corner is the net red restaurant, but it magically avoids the noise. The parking lot is too friendly to the self-driving people! Must like the super cost-effective, the hardware and services are impeccable at the same price. Such a warm and professional inn is worth seeing by more people! I hope every friend who comes to Heshun can meet this beautiful ～"

"B&B room: Neat, clean, spotless, fully equipped, very quiet at night! Surrounded by villas, flowers are blooming, and the environment is quiet and beautiful. Parking available. The breakfast is delicious, the owner is warm and thoughtful, and the B&B is very close to the station and the airport. It’s worth coming! It was the winter solstice when we went there, and the boss invited us to have barbecue. People from all over the world sat together and tasted fine wine and delicious food. "2:00 PM Check-in on time I couldn't stop smiling as soon as I entered the room. Every detail was so beautiful. I kept thinking, ”You get what you pay for.” I took a shower and did laundry first. Then I took a nap. Afterwards, I read in the rocking chair. I burned incense and drank tea at the tea table. I waited quietly for the sunset. At sunset, the afterglow filled the room. No wonder the room is called ”Sunset Melting Gold.” Tengchong Hot Spring 👍👍👍 After soaking, my whole body felt warm. I felt a warmth from the inside out. I will definitely come back to Tengchong!!! I opened my eyes and saw the morning mist. Such a vast expanse of morning mist! I've seen the morning mist at Longtan these past two days, and now I've even seen it at the hotel! I'm so happy!!!"

"Before arriving, I was wondering if the 5.0 rating of this hotel was inflated, but after arriving, I realized it was absolutely genuine. Whether it's the room amenities, location, cleanliness, or value for money, it far surpasses all other guesthouses. The guesthouse offers a sumptuous breakfast, lots of fresh flowers, and adorable squirrels fed by the owner. There's also a hot spring, and some rooms even have private baths. Unfortunately, we hadn't booked in advance, but after telling the owner, they immediately filled the tub for us, ensuring excellent privacy. The room is fully smart-equipped, the pillows and bedding are very comfortable, the hairdryer is a Dyson, and there are dental floss, hair ties, etc., by the bedside. The trash can is electric, and there's even a weighing scale—it's like a five-star hotel! But what I want to praise most is the incredibly thoughtful Mr. and Mrs. Sun. They informed us the night before our arrival that they would pick us up in Tengchong city. Whether we were arriving or leaving, Mr. Sun enthusiastically carried our luggage without us having to lift a finger. Upon arrival, he meticulously explained how to explore the ancient town, providing detailed routes – something we desperately needed. At the previous guesthouses, the owners were indifferent when we asked questions 😢, but at Huaxi, they treated guests like family. Upon entering the room, they offered incredibly sweet and fresh welcome fruit; while soaking in the hot spring, they proactively provided bottled water; and when we returned tired from sightseeing, they led us to the gym area to relax on massage chairs. The owner's wife even took many photos for us. One night, returning from the bar street, we saw a very expensive guesthouse with all its lights off and doors locked, but when we returned to Huaxi, it was always brightly lit and the owner's wife warmly greeted us. I've always felt that the core of a hotel is service, and Mr. and Mrs. Sun anticipated our needs – their service was comparable to a 7-star hotel. This is the best guesthouse we've ever stayed in, bar none. A 5.0 rating is well-deserved. I've never written such a long review before. I joked with the owner that I was afraid if it became popular, I wouldn't be able to book a room anymore. My partner even offered to take a photo with the owner, haha! If there's ever a chance to come to Tengchong again, one of the most important reasons will definitely be to come back to Huaxi and experience the wonderful feeling of a vacation there again."
