Generator Barcelona is a stylish and modern hostel located in the trendy Eixample district, close to the city center and within walking distance of attractions like Passeig de Gràcia and Sagrada Família. It offers both dormitory beds and private rooms, with clean, well-designed interiors and a fun, youthful atmosphere
The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and good amenities. Staff are friendly and helpful, and check-in is smooth. While it’s slightly removed from the city center, public transport is nearby, making it easy to get around. Great value for a peaceful stay away from the crowds.
I like the beautiful hills overlooking the hotel's terrace. The single room I stayed in was indeed small. In time for the exhibition, the price is relatively high. There is an outdoor swimming pool. There is a convenience store nearby, and it is also very convenient to take the subway, just a few hundred meters away. Buses are convenient.

The experience of the six-person female dormitory is particularly good. I met very good roommates. It is quite quiet at night. There is a kitchen on the underground first floor where you can cook, which is very convenient. There is a balcony on the sixth floor where you can rest.
The hotel is much better than I thought. It is said to be 12 meters, but when I arrived, it was bigger than the 15-meter ones in China. There is also a small balcony, and outside the balcony is a small alley, which is quite beautiful. The location is good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, the front desk is open 24 hours a day, and it is clean and tidy. I went to the airport on the last day, and asked the hotel staff to help me call a taxi to the airport, which was 47 euros, which was a bit expensive.
Honestly I don't recommend this hostel mainly because of its location. I arrived at barcelona at night and I had to walk 20 min from the metro station to the hostel (the bus schedule might be different in day time). And you have to go uphill since it's the hill near the park guell. There's no lift in the hostel so it's not convenient at all. But the staff did helped me to carry the luggage up together.
One of the bathrooms was broken when I was there and there's only one bathroom at the other floor for the whole building.
The bedroom itself is clean and well air-conditioned
The hotel itself is decent , the reception staff were all friendly and helpful. The room however was a little dirty, the floor seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned and had hair, footprints and dust. but I didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't bother me too much. Apart from that , the room I was given was tiny with a window that couldn't be opened (if it could open It would have opened to an internal apartment courtyard ).
The hotel breakfast was great, not a massive selection but the breads, meats and other selections were really tasty and I actually missed this breakfast on the rest of my trip !
Location wasn't ideal but it's about a 10 minute walk to the busier neighbourhoods so it's not too bad. But it is quite a walk to the beach.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel but not the room I stayed in, they do have some other options that may be better suited, but around the price point it was okay.
Excellent location, convenient travel, clean and comfortable rooms, warm and thoughtful service, front desk staff will answer any questions and respond to any requests. Very warm-hearted. I will definitely recommend it to my friends
It was good, although they told me that there was an incident the day before with one of the girls, but the hotel resolved it perfectly. They were very attentive and kind in keeping my things after I left the hotel.
We absolutely love staying with Radisson Blu 1882 while we are in Barcelona. The location is in a prime area which is also near to a Metro. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia and 20 minutes walk to the famous Casa Mila and Casa Batlo. The room is definitely worth the price given the location and service that we received. The room was spacious and clean. Basic toiletries were provided. There was also hair dryer provided which was perfect for girls. We have also stayed in another hotel in Barcelona and we prefer Radisson Blu 1882 considering all factors. I would highly recommend Radisson Blu 1882 to anyone who is visiting Barcelona.

Great
HHANGood location in the city, good for family tour.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent. You will see Thanksgiving Street when you go out. You will pass by major luxury brand stores along the way. There are supermarkets and restaurants around, which is very convenient. The hotel is in a very old building. The room is quite spacious, with a separate cloakroom, a dry and wet separation in the bathroom, and a large bathtub. The facilities are a bit old, but the functions are good. The breakfast is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. The service staff is warm and thoughtful. An old gentleman is responsible for delivering our luggage to the room and slowly introducing the functions of the room. His speech and behavior are elegant and very European.
GGuest UserThe hotel I was most looking forward to on this trip, it really didn't disappoint!
The room is very big, the best hotel should be a suite, each room type has two rooms and two to three beds
There is champagne and snacks in the welcome package, the decoration style is very suitable for taking pictures and enjoying a leisurely vacation in the room, the only drawback is that the heating is a little bit behind, and the water flow in the shower is too small and too cold
AAnonymous UserIt's good to make an appointment in a hurry. I stayed in a mixed 16-person dormitory for 4 days, and the ratio of women was about 1-2. The atmosphere of the dormitory was not talking in the room, and there were many people who only slept for a while. The accommodation facilities were satisfactory for the low price and the curtains by the bed protected privacy. The host and staff were very friendly, so I recommend it!
AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel was difficult to understand and I didn't contact the way to check in in advance, so I had to contact the front desk by international phone after arriving nearby. (around 19:30)
It was a time when there was no one at the front desk, I couldn't find the Wifi password in my room, and I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi.
The bed was clean and the bathroom was very clean.
I would like to stay again if you contact me by email in advance about the check-in method.
