This is my first time to write a review. There is no space between the toilet and the wall in the bathroom for people to sit down. There is almost no space for an adult to stand in the bathing area (I am 53 kg). The sink cannot hold any dental cups, facial cleansers and other supplies. The room hygiene is poor, and the bedding is yellow in color. I beat it to death before going to bed. Two big mosquitoes, still bitten by mosquitoes in the middle of the night. When I first saw the South Gate of Peking University, I didn't notice that it was a special room, so I immediately booked it. After looking at the reviews and pictures, I canceled immediately. This was the first time I encountered the fact that I couldn't cancel. I had no choice but to make a lot of unsatisfactory psychological preparations. After seeing it, it was beyond imagination. The special price room of 385 was suffocating when I entered the room. I can't describe it. I looked at the platform and saw a standard room of 469 yuan. I asked the front desk if I could change the room. After looking at the room, I went to the front desk to pay the difference. I found that the platform had changed it to 553 yuan, and I still made up the difference. This kind of hotel sets prices arbitrarily, probably without any plans for subsequent development, and it feels like an embarrassment to Beijing.

Apart from the good location, I am not satisfied with anything else. First of all, the price is extremely high at more than 600 per night, with two beds, one large and one small, measuring 15 square meters, with barely 50 centimeters in between. The washroom is also extremely small. The wash basin is next to the toilet and next to the shower. There is a 15 x 50 cm metal bracket above the toilet to hold toilet paper and other items. As soon as the shower is flushed, the items get wet. When sitting on the toilet, your knees are against the wall. Do not bend down, otherwise your head will hit the wall. The toilet seat was broken and taped up with tape, and the towel rack above was also broken and taped up with tape. The towel rack suddenly fell off in the middle of the night, and the place where the tape was originally attached was loose. There are also small black crumbs on the bed, I don’t know what they are. The small bed is next to the wall on the other side of the window. The curtains must be closed otherwise the room will be unobstructed. When the curtains are closed, a lot of dust will rise. Let’s talk about service: that is, there is no service. There is no word service in the dictionary. There were no toothbrushes, toothpaste and other items on the first day, but two toothbrushes were put in during cleaning the next day. No bottled water. The most important thing is that you cannot cancel after booking. If you book a month in advance, you can’t cancel the next day. Why can’t you cancel if there is still a whole month left? It is not possible to reschedule, you can only reschedule through the Ctrip platform. When checking in, the front desk asked for good reviews and said they helped me reschedule and reserved a room with two beds. I want to say that I booked a large and small bed and paid the same price. Do I still want to thank you for giving me the room according to the contract? ?

The room is not big, but fortunately it is clean and tidy. The location is more convenient. Maybe it's because of the general rise in hotel prices in Beijing recently, I feel like I bought a daily necessities at a high price. 😂

I also lived there during the epidemic in 2021. It is clean and close to Zhongguancun. The environment near the South Gate of Peking University is quiet and quiet. It is the first choice for business trips!
