The hotel is located in Xinnong Street, Exit A/D of Tianqiao Station of Line 8, and it takes about 3 minutes to walk to the subway. The subway is only two stops from Qianmen and three stops from Wangfujing. It takes about 10 minutes to Tiantan Hospital, Friendship Hospital and Stomatological Hospital. Next to Tianqiao Theater, opposite Tianqiao Art Center, Jiangjin Wine, and only 5 minutes' walk from Temple of Heaven and Institute of Biology. The surrounding facilities are complete, and there is an alley called "Study Abroad Road", with fruits and vegetables, steamed bread at the entrance of the palace, Ziguangyuan, old Beijing instant-boiled mutton, roast duck and old Beijing snacks close at hand.

The hotel for that price is good. Really nice location and helpful staff. The only thing is that WiFi did not really work properly.

Pros: the location is excellent with the subway less than 5 minutes walk away. Furthermore the Temple of Heaven is also within walking distance. The room are nice and cozy with adequate heating for winter. Very good water heater for shower. The best part is the price is very affordable compared to others.
Cons: the only deficiency is the 3pax room is a bit dated (whereas the 2pax room looks like renovated and new). Nearby not many restaurants for breakfast (or maybe we didn't search hard enough)
Overall excellent value for our stay in RJ Brown.

- The hotel did not have hot water for three days. There was a room with its own water heater that was made available for guests to use for showers.
- The location is great, as you can walk to several points of interest.
- They also allowed us to do a late check-out for free due to the inconvenience with the hot water.

Location was very good. 5 minutes walk to Tianqiao metro station and 10 minutes walk to the Tample of Heaven. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit small though and condition wasn’t perfect. However, toilet and shower room was nice and clean. Unfortunately, there were no hot water for the first 2 days of our 5-day stay. The manager was apologetic and offered us a 20% discount as a gesture of good will.

A boutique hotel near Temple of Heaven & Natural History museum. Good quiet location away from the main road. Accessible to local eateries.
Receptionists were very helpful in assisting with directions.
