Ibis Hotel (Beijing Tiantan East Gate Station)

As a couple who visited Beijing to see the Great Wall of China, we think the location of the accommodation is excellent. With the famous tourist spot, the Temple of Heaven Park and the Temple of Heaven East Gate Subway Station right next door, it's easy to access the heart of the tourist attractions such as Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Qianmen Street etc. If you are familiar with the subway, you can easily travel to distant areas of the city through the intricate network of Beijing's subway system. The building is an old-style building, but it's suitable for a couple to use, and the clean bedding and strong-pressure hot shower are pleasing. The room guide and the in-room amenities show a rare attention to detail for an economical accommodation, and the staff at the frontdesk are sincerely friendly. (Especially the glasses-wearing, good English-skilled cute lady) Thanks to them, our impression of Beijing got better and our trip was enjoyable. If we visit Beijing again, we will use it again.

From Beijing capital airport just take the capital express and then take the subway for line 5 and get off at “temple of heaven east gate” and exit from exit C. Property is very budget friendly, location is just minutes away from the subway, and 5 minutes walk to temple of heaven, there is 24 hours convenient store near the hotel. The room is nice, daily housekeeping. The staffs are nice and helpful.  Thank you for my stay in Beijing I am happy with my decision to stay in Ibis.

Our stay at the ibis hotel in Tiantandongmeng, Beijing, was a pleasant surprise. The hotel’s prime location, just a five-minute walk from subway exit C of Tiantandongmeng, made commuting around the city a breeze. Its close proximity to the Temple of Heaven added a touch of cultural enrichment to our trip. Convenience was key, with a grocery store and a delightful local Chinese restaurant nearby. We also discovered a charming bakery offering freshly baked bread and pastries, and for those craving a taste of home, there's a McDonald’s within walking distance. Despite booking our room at a very affordable rate, we were impressed by its spaciousness, which surpassed that of other hotels in Beijing with a similar star rating. The room featured a large and comfortable bed, and having a window added a refreshing element to our stay. We had the chance to try the hotel’s buffet breakfast once. While the options were somewhat limited, the food was satisfying and provided a good start to our day. Overall, our experience at the ibis hotel in Tiantandongmeng was enjoyable and offered great value for the price. We would consider staying here again on future visits to Beijing.

Recommend! Location is excellent and near to the station - super easy to take the metro to central locations. The staff is very friendly and attentive as well. Room is clean and nice just for a few days trip!

Hotel is located near metro station (about 5mins walk). Staff are nice and even gave a gift upon check out. Rooms are also clean.
