Not sure how this hotel got a 4.9 star review rating on Trip.com. Our friends who are Chinese locals says this hotel did not get good reviews on their Chinese apps. The location is not good. It’s about a 14 minute walk to the nearest subway, roads are small so taxi and Didi will take awhile to get there, and there’s next to nothing nearby for food. The pictures on Trip.com are much nicer than they actually are in person. Rooms are so tiny you don’t have a place to put any of your belongings anywhere other than the floor. We woke up at 6am the next day wanting to visit the Summer Palace and needed assistance booking a taxi from the hotel. The receptionist was sleeping on a cot and we tried to wake her up to book the taxi, however, she fell back asleep which made us feel awkward to wake her up again.
We typically don’t write bad reviews but this hotel was the exception. I would stay away from the hotel at all cost.

The hotel is in a good location, in a residential area, the environment is very quiet, and the surrounding living facilities are complete. The hotel also provides free roasted sweet potatoes and soy milk. The service staff is very enthusiastic and dedicated. They will help deliver any takeaway to the room. I am very satisfied with their service.
