Beijing Rui'an Hotel

Because I had made an appointment to pay my respects, visit and tour the surrounding areas, I chose this hotel which is close to the square, memorial hall, National Museum, Military Museum and city tower. When we arrived, we saw that it was the hotel of the General Administration of Police. To the east were the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the garrison area, and the Legation Quarter in Dongjiaomin Lane; to the south were the Supreme People's Court, the Advisory Office, and the Bei'an Bureau; to the west were the National Museum and the square; to the north were the General Administration of Police and the new unit of the anti-gang group leader. Most of the hotel guests are "uncles". There is a sentry at the door and people have to check their cards when entering and leaving. The atmosphere is a bit depressing. It's a long way from the sentry post to the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient. I regret not choosing to stay at the Capital Hotel or the Beijing Hotel on Chang'an Avenue earlier. The prices are similar on non-holidays. It is really convenient to stay and travel around the square. The hotel gate faces the east wall of the National Museum. The photo with a red flag posted by someone in the comment area is the National Museum (borrowed the photo and posted it in the first photo). You can see the east side of the Memorial Hall beyond the wall. Those with a police card can even walk through the General Administration compound and go out through the main gate to queue up to visit the National Museum (the entrance to the National Museum is attached to the gate of the General Administration). I spent a day and a half visiting the Military Museum, Wangfujing, Dashilan, the Memorial Hall, the National Museum, and the City Tower. Due to the appointment time, I was able to return to the hotel to wait during the tour instead of being exposed to the wind on the streets. There is a restaurant in the High Courtyard at the entrance. It is said to have been open for a long time. The owner is a very energetic young man. It is the only restaurant on this street and also the only ordinary restaurant in the Tiananmen area. There are private rooms on the second and third floors where you can have a few drinks.

After living here for a few days, here are my feelings: 1️⃣It’s already 2024 and there’s still no WiFi in hotel rooms 2️⃣ To order takeout, you need to walk to the gate of the courtyard where the hotel is located to pick it up. The security room at the gate will not keep it temporarily. If you do not come out to greet your delivery guy in person, your takeout will be placed on the ground (as shown in the picture). The distance from the hotel lobby to the gate of the courtyard is 490 meters. 3️⃣Maybe due to the special location, it is inconvenient to take a taxi. No matter which taxi app you use, you will not be able to locate the hotel entrance. You will have to locate the post office entrance in the south before you can get on the taxi (walk more than half a kilometer). 4️⃣Except for a small restaurant at the entrance that is not cheap, the entire road is just a wall from beginning to end. There are no restaurants, fruit shops or supermarkets. 5️⃣The lights and exhaust fans in the bathroom automatically turn off every half an hour. I asked the hotel front desk whether this setting was for energy conservation and emission reduction considerations, and they said no. But after I was moved to a new room, it was still the same - don't leave the lights on all the time, otherwise when you go to the toilet it happens to be a few minutes before it automatically turns off, then you'll just have to wait to **** in the dark. If you want to hang your laundry in the bathroom and let the exhaust fan suck it dry, you have to turn it back on every half hour. 6️⃣It takes more than 1.5 kilometers to walk to any subway station 7️⃣Advantages: The appearance is majestic and safe enough. Summary: If you don't want to spend a high price to experience this kind of special hotel, you should choose other hotels of the same price. Attached are some room exterior photos

Environment: The hotel is located inside the Supreme People's Court. It has an unassuming appearance but there is an armed police sentry at the entrance. It feels very safe. The hotel has a long corridor and the interior of the room is full of official style. It only takes five minutes to get to Tiananmen Security Checkpoint No. 4. It is very convenient for cases. Hygiene: The hygiene of the official hotel is unquestionable. The pillows and beds are very clean. Service: The front desk was very welcoming and even gave us suggestions for watching the national flag raising.

The main reason is the geographical location. It is very fast to walk to the scenic spots on the central axis. During major festivals, traffic control occurs and I have to take a lot of detours. Normally, I will save a lot. There are guards at the door. It is absolutely safe. It is now open to the public. It is recommended that the facilities and services should keep up with the market demand. The beef noodles and rice noodles for breakfast are delicious. Overall, it is great. It is recommended to stay.

多次工作來入住酒店，距離天安門很近，大堂內有禮品店值得購買喲，環境幽雅，但是設施還是老舊了一些，總的説來值得再來入住
