Hotel is located in the center of a popular Hutong. There are plenty of restaurants and shops right outside the door but inside the hotel is peaceful and quiet. The staff speak English and are ready to meet your every needs including free laundry service!
We stayed in the loft room which had one tv and a projector on the second floor. The heater works well. Just one small complaint, the room was located on the lower level and the sewage smell in the room was stinky. But overall the hotel was wonderful!

The hotel is in a great location - close to the subway and lots of street food type stands and restaurants. The room and bathroom looked newly renovated and was lightly cleaned everyday. You also get free water and the staff are all friendly and helpful! Thank you!

The location was great and surrounded by lots of nightlife. Very busy with foot traffic and mopeds. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend!

Good location come out from hotel is nanluoguxiang street ... opposite door is starbuck ...but not near to mrt station is about 600m walk to mrt

Simply fantastic. Have been there two times with my girlfriend already and would definitely visit again. The staff is extremely helpful and gives any recommendations needed to visit the city. The location is optimal as it lies in a quite lively street where any kind of souvenir shop/restaurant/cafè is reachable by foot. The underground lies at a 15m walk.
The hotel offers free water and little snacks. There is no breakfast but this really does not represent a problem, as there is plenty of options right outside of the hotel.
Cannot wait for my next visit at Tangfu!

I can stay here for many many many days! Absolutely love the hotel service by their smart - friendly staff and tastefully decorated interior. Very IG value! I love the terrace overlooking the busy street of Nanluoguxiang. Evening and night is fun for wondering around the Drum Towers, Houhai bars and their surrounding hutong neighbourhood. Easy to pin the location for Didi, so you no need to drag your heavy luggage.

The hotel building overall is fine, good for the price we paid. Room is reasonably sized and clean.
What really stood out was the service and the conveniences. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. They ensured that we found the hotel, gave us a welcome tea, and helped carry our luggage up the stairs / lift. Throughout the stay they provided laundry service, warm bottled water for the Beijing winter, always ready to help with our questions. Service was absolutely excellent.
Location is good, at the north end of Nanluoguxiang. Plenty of food places, souvenir shops. Quite touristy but handy, There was a great local all-day Beijing diner just north of the hotel at the intersection. Amazing mini pork buns.
Would stay again here if we return to Beijing.

We got a free upgrade. The service by the staff is most commendable. They are patient and very helpful. The room amenities were pretty nice as they provide a free Chinese tea set to enjoy tea by the huge balcony. The room is slightly small, we had to open our luggages on the bed. Otherwise, highly recommended for any travellers.
