The bed is nice and the Tatami room is pleasant. The big projector screen works well and the sound system is also good. However, amenities are limited and you have to ask the front desk for something as simple as a shower cap. The cleanliness is somewhat compromised because they don't replace tissue rolls when it's finished. (We stayed for 3 nights and they never replace it.)
If you are here to attend the US visa interview, I would recommend it though, since the hotel is walkable to the US Embassy (around 10 minutes) and the hotel is quite close to the city center (eg. 15 minutes from Lama Temple by Didi) as well as the Capital airport (30 minutes by Didi if no traffic jam). Actually, the airport can be reached through Sanyuanqiao station, which is the closest to the hotel. However, the walk to the station is not so convenient. It also takes almost 20 minutes. So, we ended up using Didi for most of the trips.
The staffs are okay and I appreciate that someone was there for us to check in when we arrived at the hotel very late at night (around 3 AM). Unfortunately, the staff didn't take all the photos he needed from our passports. So, we had to go down to the lobby again in the middle of the night for this. We also faced language barrier and if we don't know any basic Chinese, it would have been extremely confusing.
