This was the first time I was traveling on my own and staying at a hotel. It was a magical experience. The service was outstanding and the staff was very helpful. If I were to come back to beijing, I will definitely stay there once more. I booked this hotel because it was closer to the badaling great wall of china, and I spent a wonderful day there as well.

It is an excellent hotel for the price. It is in the centre of the city, with several malls and attractions within walking distance. We took the train up to Yanqing from Beijing. From the train station, we grabbed some bicycles and got to the hotel in 15 minutes.
The staff are polite and welcoming, there are no English speaking staff but it was not a problem and we weren't expecting it.
The only downside is the foul smell in the bathroom, but I think that is a common issue wherever you stay.
I would recommend it and may even stay there again.

The hotel is in a good location, opposite to Xiadu Park. The hotel is elegantly decorated, with a grand style and antique charm. It has complete facilities, is clean and hygienic, has good sound insulation, and has plenty of hot water.
