Beijing Shunyi District Hotels

We stayed here only for a night. My kid love the ducky design and we are satisfy with it as well as an adult. not sure how to say it but it seems they have put some well consideration into it when the places are built/renovate. Their location is convenient for catching ur flights, they have shuttle to take you to the airport. Since I did not have a China phone number, they went an extra mile to reach out to trip.com to get a hold of me cause there were items we left in the room. I was able to contact them back because they had direct WeChat communication. Although the things were not important and I asked them to toss them, but the service to try to ensure the customer did not leave any items behind is superb. Honestly the hotel around the airport is not for a long stay if you are there for sight seeing, but anytime I am in BJ, they will def get my business for a day or 2 before I leave the city.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. I stayed one night. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport. Fiona at the front desk speaks English and is very polite and helpful. I stayed in room 3080. It gave a 5 star experience. Yvonne at the concierge desk is absolutely phenomenal! She went above and beyond to assist me with ordering some things I urgently needed late at night. She is very polite and kind. She is definitely irreplaceable and very much appreciated! Overall, the experience was great and I will be sure to stay here again when I visit Beijing!!

Unquestionably, this is the hotel with the most considerate service that I have ever stayed in. From the efficient and professional check-in process at the front desk to the staff who all smile and greet you warmly, every detail far exceeded my expectations, making me feel as though I were staying at home rather than in a hotel.

Unpleasant smell in my room, but overall very clean. No toothbrush and comb. You can order breakfast but it costs 48 yuans. Staff doesn’t speak English. Free transfer to the airport

To be honest, if I could go back and choose between this hotel and another famous one (starting with letter H), I would choose the latter. Lots of things don't correspond with the policy of 5-star hotels. For example, there's only 1 big towel even though the room is supposed to be for 2 ppl. The AC wasn't working properly (it was incredibly hot and stuffy in the room) and nothing changed after someone came to check it. The automated curtain system also had to be fixed as it wasn't working. Same with the TV. The only gem here is the breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

The newly opened Hampton by Hilton family rooms are amazing! 🤩 Stepping into the family room is like entering a joyful world filled with childlike fun. The room is filled with refreshing blue accents, from the bed toys and pillows to the wall decorations, which instantly brighten children's eyes. The color combination is very warm, with warm yellow interwoven with soft colors, creating a cheerful and comfortable atmosphere. [Sun] The bedding is soft and clean, and lying on it feels like being embraced by clouds. The family room is thoughtfully designed, with a crib specifically for children, giving parents peace of mind. The bathroom also features family-themed toiletries and a cute bear step ladder, which makes children more enthusiastic about washing up. The room is also equipped with family toys, so children can play all day long. Parents can also enjoy intimate time with their children in this relaxing atmosphere, making the entire stay full of joy and warmth, and creating unforgettable memories.

Excellent service from the front desk staff. We have a young child with us, they were very attentive and given a dinosaur themed room. Our child loved the room and would want to stay longer.

It took the taxi 20 minutes going in circles to find the place; we rang three times and the reception couldn’t tell him the address. Having limited Chinese I couldn’t help much either. I arrived eventually having stopped and asked two separate security guards at other entrances to the complex it is based in. It took three staff members 10minutes to understand my question ‘what time do I need to leave to get to the airport for 10am?’ - with the initial response being 7am (it’s 15 mins away). I was upgraded to a quiet end of corridor room which was appreciated. The water was hot and the bed supremely comfortable. On the downside the AC/heating funnelled in smoke from other rooms; the bathroom was dirty (hair and stains on the tub; smeared glass on shower; broken telephone hanging off wall; tiny toiletries (no good if a couple using room)). I couldn’t get the toilet to flush and it took a while to explain that in broken Chinese. The fridge has just one beer, one cola and one sprite. Breakfast was vast, predominately Chinese style but good. For me; paying over 1000rmb a night in an international hotel by the airport I expected better ability to communicate with staff; cleaner room with nicer amenities/supplies and not smelling smoke in a non smoking room. I am sure there are better options near the airport which I would look for next time.

The hotel is very close to the airport. They told me they had shuttle on the phone but didn’t have it when I got there.
