Marriott properties in Beijing

The human touch here is simply outstanding. We stayed for three days, and my brother unfortunately got sick with an upset stomach and had to be hospitalized. The entire staff was incredibly caring, constantly checking in on his condition. They went above and beyond, helping us arrange transportation and coordinating with the hospital. They even prepared special meals for my brother that he could eat and brought them directly to our room. The hotel itself has an old-fashioned vibe, but it's well-maintained and still going strong.

Visited Huairou with my family and stayed at the Marriott. The room was spacious, and the hotel has a kids' club and a heated pool, which my children absolutely loved. A special shout-out to Dave at the front desk – he was so thoughtful during check-in, reminding us about breakfast times and parking, and his communication was both gentle and professional. The hotel's ambiance is elegant, and overall, it was a great experience. Definitely a top choice for a getaway in the Beijing suburbs.

Facilities: The kids' playground was a bit disappointing. One slide was under maintenance, and there was no trampoline, just building blocks and such – not much to play with. It was worse than what I expected from a family-friendly hotel's children's facilities. The pool was great and clean. The hot spring pools were also a lot of fun. However, the outdoor area only opens at 10:30 AM and the slides close around 5 PM. In Beijing's summer, it's impossible to play when it's at its hottest; you'd get roasted. And it closes before it even gets dark. It's a bit of a shame that we couldn't fully enjoy the outdoor slide pool. Cleanliness: Clean. Service: Very good and enthusiastic. Kevin, our butler, helped us solve all sorts of problems throughout our stay. Many thanks to him. Environment: Right next to Wanda Plaza, so no worries about food and drinks. It was very convenient. The hotel lobby bar was also good, with decent standards.
