Hotel Best Triton

Just Back from a week at the Trition Hotel Benalmadena what a wonderful new Hotel a wonderful experience although we did have many fun times at the old Trition that's why I returned. I was really taken back wonderful staff in all areas from reception cleaning staff Bar Dining room etc the uniform in all areas were really lovely especially in the Dining room the waiting staff were dressed to the best all the Chefs came out with food were outstanding & looked spotless .each & everyone of the staff were so helpful & friendly. We were unfortunate about the weather but overall we had a lovely stay. I was in the Spa twice & what sn experience it was 1 of the best so big however I was surprised children are aloud into it. The Hotel bedroom was nice & had 2 beds The bed linen & especially soft pillows were very comfortable & a large shower Room was a lovely suprise.we were in room 1739 it was in the first block .The lifts were great which give you a lovely view of the pool & the main ***** itself also front of the Hotel lift gave you a view of the main street.we had entertainment every night lovely Cocktails & irish Coffees .over all I would give them top marks so many Seats to sit in Comfort whether it was to relax read play cards or have a drink. there were always somewhere to sit & relax . The colour of the seats & style all different from the reception area pool area pool bar & large Bar with the entertainment was so comfy Thank you for a lovely welcome to all at the Trition . Arrived 2nd January, 10 night stay. Family of 3. Easy check in at 1pm. Room ready at 3pm,so luggage left in storage. Twin room 1245 above the restaurant. Nice marina/sea view. Very noisy room with the dining room below. 2 twin beds not very big. Spacious rooms, nice balcony, large shower. Big hotel, like a maze. Lots of seats everywhere, tables, cabanas. Beach front access is great. Entertainment poor. Drinks prices overall good. Great staff. The only negative would be the temperature of the food, even when it's come out fresh, it's only look warm. Microwave was needed. Food option and quality was rather good. Very corporate/old saga atmosphere. All in all we had a great stay and would consider returning in the future.

Newly refurbished hotel with great food and views! Plenty of bars and shops nearby too, nice neighbourhood. Beach was lovely, will be going again late this year. Malaga is about 20 mins away by taxi and you can also take a bus, stop which is 2 mins walk away from the hotel.

Review as Family Travelling with Two young children (3 and 5 years) This is a fabulous hotel. I don’t think it particularly advertises itself as child friendly hotel, per se, and indeed most of the clientele out of season, are older, as to be expected. But I felt it important to explain why this is a perfect choice of hotel for anyone with young children. 1) the rooms have two double beds - perhaps not a major thing for others but if, like us, you start the night in one bed and always end up separated with a child apiece, then both having a comfortable sized bed is a must. No one draws the short straw then as to who will have to sleep on a pull out bed! 2) indoor swimming pool - is huge, well heated and clean. Really important if coming with little ones as really, unless you’re travelling in the high season, most pools are too cold. Having the covered swimming pool meant it didn’t matter what the weather was doing (although it was glorious when we went) we could always take the kids swimming. Major advantage. I think it’s worth noting there are actually two indoor swimming pools, I think this was a little confusing having read the reviews. One is in the spa which you have to pay for. We didn’t use this. There is also an entirely separate indoor heated pool which is free to use for all guests and children can use it the entire time it is open, without restriction. 3) lovely outdoor play area with slides and climbing frames - clean, well maintained and well equipped. Also children’s splash pool. A little chilly for us but plenty of children still in there in November. The water isn’t unbearable and it’s nice and clean and well maintained with fun slides etc. There were also lots of lovely Bali beds dotted around which we found to be readily available, in shade or sun, perfect for an afternoon snooze with the kids. 4) there is a kids club which is mostly run by a really nice young guy (didn’t catch his name but he was lovely). He really made an effort with all the children which was lovely. This has a soft play inside (not huge) but certainly enough for a few hours of fun in the morning. There are also crafts and things laid out for the children to do which was great. I think in low season this is open from 10.30 to 12.30 every day. I think it is an option to leave the kids there but we didn’t and didn’t see any others doing it either. All parents accompanied their children here. Might be different in high season. 5) location - right out the back of the hotel is a gate and you are then on to the main promenade and after that onto the beach, this was just perfect for us. It means no issues with managing the buggy as all flat to walk (once down set of steps from the gate) or because such a short distance had the option to leave the buggies behind as easy walking distance for little legs. Beach is lovely and has nice soft sand. In easy walking distance to the marina as well. 6) lots to do in the area for children and lots

Absolutely wonderful hotel, unreal views BUT!! Far too big takes ages to get anywhere, restaurant not big enough for size of place either, always waiting around. Had an upgrade which I've never had but room was disappointing, was unfinished!
