Best Berkeley Hotels

"The location of the hotel is in the downtown of Berkeley with lots of restaurants and supermarket (Target) around. Bart and buses are adjacent to the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed, pillows and blankets are good and warm. The bath amenities are available but you have to squeeze hardly to get out the lotion. The road near to the hotel is under repair, the workers start working quite early in the morning at 7am, thus it really affected us as we didn’t wish to wake up so early. Homeless people are scattered around the hotel therefore you have to exercise care when going in and out of the hotel."

"The century-old hotel has been renovated and has some traces of time. The room is not very good but the location is convenient. It is not easy to have your own parking lot. The bathroom is also very small. It is OK for a short stay. I guess it is not suitable for domestic stays for a long time."

"The location is a bit far from downtown Berkeley, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.However, I was surprised that the car noise was loud on the road right in front of me. Breakfast was served in a lunch box, and if you choose the food you want, you can bring it to the room on time and eat it comfortably. "Rooms are spacious and clean. However heating is loud. Great view of San Francisco and Golden Gate. Staff are attentive. The hotel generally could need some facelift. Furthermore, the breakfast room was chilly every day so that I started wearing as many layers as possible. Coffee was disappointing, but breakfast omeletts were great. So was the tuna tartar by night."
