Das SCHMÖCKWITZ

As a registered group of 20 people, we were guests at this hotel for lunch today. The first impression of the hotel and grounds was very good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service in the restaurant. The menu only offered pizza as a main course, with exactly 5 variations. Unfortunately, it also seemed that the waitress was a temporary worker with no professional knowledge. They tried hard, but there were confusions with the orders and a complete lack of overview. We had ordered for 1 p.m., the last of the group got their food at 2.30 p.m. There was probably only one pizza oven that could fit 3 pizzas..... The quality of the pizza was not to be faulted, however. All in all, a visit to this restaurant is not recommended.

The house looks good. But that's totally deceptive. When checking in there was only one member of staff. I waited a quarter of an hour for my room key. I didn't feel very welcome. Important information was not provided, for example where to get breakfast. The room was not in the main building, but in the container-like annex, small... but clean. But there was no hairdryer, as advertised. The room was completely cold on arrival, as the heating was completely off and it was below freezing. If you know that a guest is coming, you can at least ensure that the temperature in the room is a little bit higher. We looked for a breakfast room in the morning. Not a single member of staff there to ask. An attempt to reach someone using the number provided at reception also failed because the answering machine went off. In the end, breakfast was served on a large boat. You had to eat breakfast in a thick jacket in 10 degree heat. If I wanted that, I could stay at a campsite. Breakfast was not worth the money, let alone €15. Little choice and what was there was at the cheapest price and poorly presented. Conclusion: The hotel advertises itself with great photos of the main building, but unfortunately does not keep its promises. The employees look like they are not very motivated, a bit neglected and not what you would expect from the pictures of the hotel. The bottom line is that it is more show than substance.

Theoretisch ein wunderschönes Haus direkt am Wasser gelegen . Praktisch ist es schon alles, was positiv erwähnt werden kann . Die Zimmer befinden sich im Nebengebäude welches an einen heruntergekommenen Containerbau erinnert . Die Zimmer selbst sind abgewohnt , muffig und höchstens zweckmäßig eingerichtet . Das Team im Haupthaus besteht aus 2 Personen, einem Pizzabäcker und einer Person die für den Rest zuständig ist . Das „Restaurant“ serviert Pizza , die Rezeption die Getränke . Leider gab es weder eine Getränkekarte noch waren die Getränke kaltgestellt weil scheinbar nicht genau Platz im Kühlschrank vorhanden war . Das Frühstück wird auf einem Schiff vis-à-vis serviert . Der von der Rezeption angekündigte Cappuccino erwies sich als Filterkaffee aus der Kanne. Alles in einem ist Gesamteindruck unterirdisch.

Die Internetseite täuscht Komplett über die Realität hinweg. Es handelt sich hier um eine alte Herrenvilla am See, welches ansich sehr charmant ist. Die eigentlichen Zimmer befinden sich in einem Nebengebäude, welches offensichtlich mit Masse von polnischen Monteuren gebucht wird. Absolut nicht familiengerecht.. Wenn man versucht anzurufen ist man leider verloren. Ebenso der Versuch per email zu reservieren. Betrieben wird das Hotel wohl von 2 Studenten... Alles in allem mega enttäuschend.
