"The front desk staff were excellent and kindly upgraded me to a room with a kitchen. Since the hotel is newly opened, everything feels fresh and clean. The only downside is that the parking area is still an uneven dirt road, and the pillows were quite flat. Other than that, everything was great."

"The hostel is huge, so if you pick a room far from the elevator, it's going to be a really long walk. I recommend choosing a room closer to it. There were lots of murals in the hallway, which was cool. Everything else was fine, but the radiator wasn't working. When I asked the front desk, they said it was too late to change rooms and they didn't know how to operate it, so I ended up sleeping in my puffer jacket."

"Had a wonderful stay at Estrel Berlin Hotel, the reception staff was super helpful from the first night when I arrived offered a complimentary breakfast as the room was not what I asked for and the next day I was upgraded to a mini suite as I was awaken by the fire alarm in my room. Very pleasant and the breakfast was a good buffet was all you could think of which half the time to eat 4 items but good for choice and the eyes to see. Whilst visiting Berlin I lost my cellphone and the front desk staff went all out to assist me until I was able to contact one person to know I had no phone, for that I give them 10/10 - thank you so much for all the attention you gave me and made sure I was comfortable in your hotel. Thank you."

"After I left my luggage with one staff member and was gone for only a minute, another staff member threw away the food I had left on the counter. When I asked about it，she said it was disgusting and offered no apology until I asked."

"The location is fantastic, especially if you're here to see the galleries – it's right across the street from the hotel. 'Brotherhood Kiss' (the mural) is just another minute's walk to the east. If you're traveling by train, Berlin Ostbahnhof (East Station) is right next door. It's a standard Hilton chain hotel, so there are no major complaints."

"Lovely hostel and enjoyed sharing the room with the guests. Each dorm had its own kitchen and bathroom and it was clean and I felt safe. The bar downstairs is far from the rooms so it’s pretty quiet upstairs. As a guest you get discounts for meals and drinks when you stay at the hostel. The hostel is very close to Rosa-Luxembourg Platz which (right outside the door) which will enable you to take the U Bahn to Alexander platz and other places. The M8 Tram will take you to the Berlin Wall memorial and Berlin HBF and other surrounding areas."
