Beautiful location , friendly staff and amazing food . We stayed in a pod with hot tub and was very pleased with the quality . Super comfy bed , underfloor heating , lighting effects , mini fridge with complimentary drinks . Robes & slippers for coming out hot tub . Clean , modern and luxurious pod with beautiful views . Staff put up banners and balloon into pod before our arrival that I handed in first thing that morning as was a surprise stay for my sisters 50th . Would highly recommend a stay here .

We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch here. Interesting menu, good food, pleasant staff, in a Georgian house with a view of the sea and sunshine - what more could you want for a Sunday lunch out? Also, to my relief, the vegetarian option wasn't a variant of risotto where every mouthful tastes the same!

Another fantastic stay at Marshall Meadows, it was so good last time we extended a 2 night trip into ac3 night stay. The staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and genuinely chatty. The stables rooms are huge and have everything. Breakfast and evening meals are also fantastic, not cheap but everything is top quality. Only 20 minutes drive to the top quality Goswick golf club which was our destination for the trip.

Our second visit to this hotel didn’t disappoint. The friendly welcome from the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and wonderful food added to the superb location. We would recommend the a la carte menu as being of great variety and quality. We will certainly be staying again.

Just back from a fantastic 5 day trip to Northumberland and stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent time. Friendly, helpful staff, gorgeous room, (room 5) with comfortable bed and great bathroom with walk in shower. All stuff in mini bar was free, water, prosecco, red wine, nuts, crisps and canned drinks. Tea coffee and biscuits refreshed every day. Super clean everywhere. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and so nice to have breakfast served and not just the usual buffet! Nothing was too much trouble. We dined here twice and again the food was superb. Would highly recommend and we will return! Thank you.

We can't fault the amazing Welcoming and Friendliness of every staff member. A special BIG THANK YOU to Rebecca who checked us in, and helped us with our luggage to our room on the second floor. (no lifts) Rebecca also helped me with a wrong breakfast order. A further BIG THANK YOU to Kerry who looked after us during our breakfast servicem very polite and engaging What I didn't like? Very disspointed with the room being hot, from where the sun had beamed through our window all day! On our third day I requested that housekeeping keep our curtains CLOSED, so the room doesn't heat up too much. Although there was a fan in the room, it didn't help just blowing hot air around. We had restless nights as a result. You should invest in AC, it's very uncomfortable to sleep without it! Breakfast isn't served until 08:00 on weekdays! Which wasn't good, there were others waiting around from 07:30 anxious for breakfast, why is breakfast so late? We missed our breakfast on one of the days, due to our day trip. Had breakfast been served earlier we wouldn't had missed it. Rebecca did sugest a box bkf, but it's not what we paid for, and you can't beat a good fresh hot breakfast. The kitchen got my breakfast order totally wrong, I wasn't impressed with that. It wasn't busy neither for such a mistake. Super Rebecca resolved the issue, when I raised the issue. Kerry double checked her notes when the order was taken, and confirmed that she had wrote everything down correct.

This hotel is fantastic. From the very warm welcome from Karolina, who, along with her colleagues looked after us superbly throughout our stay, to the relaxing breakfast and checkout the whole experience was one to treasure. We booked a junior suite and it was beautiful, there are other bigger and more expensive suites available but we will always ask for the same one as we loved it so much. The room was clean, bright and well appointed with modern furniture, the bathroom looked brand new and was wonderful and we slept soundly in the very comfortable bed. The room was very quiet and had views to the sea. The food at the hotel was superb and like the drinks very reasonably priced. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, in itself it is a perfect stay but is also an ideal base from which to explore the northeast. My rating - fabulous.

Fantastic stay in pod 35. The pod was clean and modern. The bed had a loose spring but they said they would have replaced it straight away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great views and a good place to explore the Scottish borders or Northumberland. Would highly recommend .
