We booked the Nirwana Suite & Premier room and i think this resort is just really old and rundown, not worth the price you're paying for.
We paid 550,000 IDR for the birthday decorations.
I've been to other resorts in bintan and the prices in the restaurants were definitely more expensive than the better hotels like IHG.
It was really a pity because they had lots of activity but everything was overpriced.
The only good restaurant was the Kelong.

Everything is superb , delicious food, nice view, kind service .
Strongly recommend the kelong restaurant, beautiful sunset and super tasty seafood!
just hope the resort improve the wifi connection , the wifi is only working when I sit near the bathroom, if I stand near the window it’s disconnected .

1. good encironments and the facilities are not new but acceptable.
2. The most pity stuffs are Monopoly by the owner even the excuse is away from reasonable (private resorts)
- no access to public taxi service say grab. Again the reason we told is the Nirwana resort is private one
- due to the monopoly, there is limited restaurants for options: the one for breakfast (level 1). The one above the one for buffet (level 2) and Kelong restuarant facing the sea
- the outstanding outcome from the monopoly is the pretty higher price for foods...I expect to have lunch at Kelong restaurant and in the end back after checking out the price in menu. Actually during the lunch time, there is no people having dinner except 1 or 2 guest to check out the good view facing the sea...pity !!!
The postiive goes to some entertainment or activotoes in the hotel say swimming in outdoort pool. Sands and Bowling etc.....
My proposal for their management is to open the service to guests in their hotel so there is more options even I will never come back to the hotel in Bintan...I has been to Batam before and the experience is better....

My husband & I enjoyed our 4 days & 3 nights stay at Nirwana Resort for my Birthday Celebration. The staff gave me a surprise birthday cake while having a buffet breakfast at their Cafe restaurant.
Our room was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly & accommodating to our request. I feel totally relaxed, renewed & recharged during our stay.
Sunset was truly mesmerizing while savouring our diner at Kelong Restaurant.
I will recommend this resort for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience the tranquility & serenity of this Island.
We will surely come back again.

Nice and clean rooms. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurants inside the resort area are a bit pricey.

Booked a short 3D2N getaway at Nirwana Resort Hotel with my family. Arrived with some free perks like 15 mins free massage per pax, 1 free bowling game per room booked and free shuttle transfer to and fro the hotel and the BBT ferry terminal.

The hotel is quite clean and the service is excellent. Seafood is delicious ,and about the same price as the one in Singapore
