Stayed in Four Points Bintan for 2 nights and wow… it totally blew my expectations! From the amazing culture to the warm service, everything was just perfect. Huge shoutout to Viona who checked me in and out she’s such a gem! Her smile and friendly vibe were so comforting. The team at Rempah Kitchen was super friendly too. I can still picture their faces, even though I forgot the names (sorry!). You guys are amazing! The food and service? Chef’s kiss! Also, big thanks to housekeeping for keeping our room spotless and the Ararinda Lounge team for being so welcoming. I already miss Four Points Sheraton Bintan… can’t wait to be back!

The villa was beautiful, even better than the pictures. However, cleanliness was slightly lacking, we had sand on our toilet floor even though we did not go to the beach. Service was pretty good, quick and fast response to queries, staff were all pretty friendly as well. Three things that could be improved were management of flies, the environment (temperature, humidity) of their restaurant, as well as the breakfast selection. Whenever we had a meal in the restaurant, there were a myraid of flies flying around us and our meal, which was certainly less than appealing. The restaurant was also warm and humid. Lastly, breakfast selection were subpar at best, taste wise was average. Overall, okay stay, would consider coming back for the villa but would skip anything food and restaurant related. Side note: if you are afraid of bugs, the toilet is a huge downside to this villa as its open concept, which means bugs would be present in the toilet (there was a small worm on the toilet paper).

Had 2 nights with Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach. Overall - Fantastic Stay. Touched down in the morning. Went around the resort. Need to orientate yourself with the place. Remember to scan the QR code in the room for all the information including the resort map. Had a super early check-in at around 11am. That's very nice of them to Whatsapp me. It is indeed a good direct platform to ask questions and get information from the hotel in a quick manner. Played the outdoor water playground with my kids, checked out the Mangrove House activities. Please request the hotel side to send you the day activities of the Mangrove House so you don't miss the activities you want to participate. So you can plan on what you want to do for the days you are there. The stay is also just beside Hotel Indigo. Which cater another food selection in the from the restaurant SugarBeats. Beach was nice and clean. With small resting couches with pillow. Every where you go. You can just rest on those couches. This is something that I like. Just 1 bad point - The hotel staff should look at how to reduce the population of the houseflies. I feel like it is quite irritating when we are having the meals. Experienced this during indoor and our outdoor meals.

Villa is large and spacious, but felt old and not well-maintained. Upon entering the villa, we were immediately greeted by many dead leaves scattered all around the pool deck and floating on the pool. Floor also felt dirty, so we wore our slippers everywhere. The shower is outdoors, which meant we had to bathe with our slippers on. Bathtub’s drainage was not working despite a technician being sent over. With the pool brightly lit at night, we could see many impurities floating around inside + I swam head on into a FROG while trying to enjoy the pool at night. Breakfast was edible but unimpressive, and the latte tasted like water. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite Villa but our villa did not match the photos online. One good point about the villa is its location - it’s the closest accommodation to Plaza Lagoi, which has some good options and marts, and Lagoi Beach, which is beautiful at sunset and very clean. Overall, would not recommend this to family and friends unless they do a major revamp/vastly improve on their maintenance.

Have stayed in at least more than 20hotels in my lifetime, this is by far the most beautiful and serene hotel ever. Splendid lush landscape with multiple seatings that allow one to relax while immerse with the landscape around. This place just let you reset your busy lifestyle. Love the multiple pools for kids to explore and kids club to entertain the kids. The rooms are superb and clean. Staff are also very courtesy, attentive and hardworking. Everyone walks around with a smile. Bicycles are littered around the estate that allow you to grab and go (the place is quite huge, so a bicycle actually helps alot!). Wifi access is superb too, everywhere we go, we got wifi access (better than our esim!) Guess the only let down is the pillows that seems abit too soft and the food choice is quite limited and not the best tasting, also they are quite expensive. But well, the hotel rooms, staff, amenities are enough to distract us off these small negligent negativity. As such, still 5 stars from us! Highly recommend this resort for a family holiday! 🌿🏖️ So many fun nature-friendly activities for kids 👧🏻 all surrounded by beautiful greenery 🍃🌳 It’s super convenient from Singapore 🇸🇬✨ After arriving at Bintan Port, there’s a shuttle bus 🚐 that takes you directly to the resort. So easy and comfortable! 😍 We’ll definitely come back again! 💚🌴

The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

Overall, the Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan offers a decent stay, particularly if you're travelling with family and looking for good value. The definite highlight was the room itself. We found it to be spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing plenty of room for everyone. The bathroom was also quite good – clean and functional. For the price point, the quality of the accommodation felt very reasonable. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. While the hotel boasts a rooftop bar and restaurant, we found it to be noticeably expensive. Guests should budget accordingly if planning to dine or drink there frequently. The breakfast included with the stay was unfortunately not very impressive, lacking variety and quality compared to what we might have expected. Location-wise, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel is near the Lagoi Bay area, but we found the water at the nearby beach wasn't particularly clean during our visit. It's also important to note that the hotel is quite far from the main town centres like Tanjung Pinang, so accessing local eateries or shops requires transport and planning. The staff were generally okay – they handled requests adequately, but didn't particularly stand out for exceptional service. In summary: Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan is a solid choice if your priority is a large, comfortable room at a reasonable price, making it suitable for families. However, be prepared for potentially high costs at the rooftop restaurant, a basic breakfast offering, a beach that might not be ideal for swimming, and a location that's relatively isolated. If you manage expectations regarding dining and location, it can be a pleasant base for your Bintan trip.

We had a great experience at the resort, for its impeccable and attentive staff service and amenities within. There isn’t much excitement within the whole Bintan Resort area, but Natra Bintan offers much for its location beside the Treasure Bay. Nice water theme park to chill in for most part of the day. Jacuzzi within our stay is a bonus. Saturday night BBQ special is wonderful. You can also hop over to the Anmon Resort next door for a different atmosphere with open air, movie screening and live band.  Things are pricey though. Prepare lotsa money to enjoy your time in the Bintan Resort area.

All the staff are friendly and accomodating. Wasn't able to get all their names including those who are in Xana Bar but they are all welcoming! Driver Bhuraman and Stella at the main counter are very kind and professional. They were the first two staff who welcome us warmly :) The place is perfect for relaxing. We love the style and the homey vibes of their room. We appreciate that they offer us to check in early with no extra charges. We really enjoyed the infinity pool and the fine-sand beach. Glad that we have experienced the sea turtle release activity which made the stay more meaningful. We just wish we spent more time to relax while having drinks at Xana Bar but the rain came along with us. Food prices were reasonable and taste absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the buffet breakfast especially their local dishes. The location is not nearby to go to places but very accessible with grab (which they launched only last May around the area). They have free shuttle service from Ferry terminal so it's also hassle free. Will definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommended for lowkey stays. :)
