The building may be tired but do not let that put you off. The staff are 5 star. The rooms are very clean, the bedding, clean as any 5 star hotel. No noise inside or outside.

We arrived and the place smelt of ****. However, the guy on reception was lovely and very attentive with us needing a cot. When we were leaving we were looking around to double check we hadn’t left anything. When checking, we seen multiple fag stubs put out under the bed and more ash on the cabinet. This meant it was evident it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Upon telling reception, I was expecting some sort of apology or something but this wasn’t received. If I could rate the guy who checked us in, I’d rate him definitely higher than a one. But unfortunately, as we have a baby, this could’ve been so dangerous with him crawling on the floor.

Toilet covered with human remains. Bed very uncomfortable. Felt like you were sleeping on floor. Walls very thin could clearly hear next doors conversation.

This is probably the worst stay we've had at a Travelodge with very noisy guests next to us with the children from the next room running up and down the corridor constantly till 12am the room wasn't clean either the ceiling had stains on it and the cups weren't clean. We stay in lots of Travelodges and have never had a bad experience until now as our fellow guests were totally unruly and the staff didn't seem bothered.

Pulled up and the car park was pitch black. Poor signage of which I could just about make out it was the right place. Receptionist having a cig at the front door. Fair enough though he was a friendly chap and probably getting his fix for 5 mins to escape the depressing prison like feel of the place. Fortunately it was just a base for the night to attend a party nearby. The bedroom was is desperate need of a refurbishment. Well trodden to say the least. It was reasonably clean and the sheets were clean. I wouldn’t normally check so much but I did this time due to the general ick the place was giving me. All the belongings the next day just smell of the room and that clinical travelodge smell of the towels etc. The lady that checked me out was pleasant too. Thank goodness the staff were ok. Travelodge sort yourself out. It’s getting like Britannia.

Really Comfortable Bed. Good Value Wifi for 3 quid a day. Hot Shower. Great Location for Motorways, Trains and Country Walks with Mersey River and Wirral Way less than a mile a way......and adjacent to a farm where a Bold little Robin came into my room to visit.....ON 3 OCCASIONS! Finally, Hotel Manager and Cleaner were very friendly, Helpful and good to chat to. Would Strongly Recommend
