Helpful reception, useful location for a wedding at Quaid-e-Azam ballroom. Very basic but comfortable.

Stayed here for my daughter to do her physical which isn’t a nice experience but the staff have made a not so nice trip absolutely wonderful. From check in to check out, it’s been wonderful. All we can say is that the room was too hot but that can’t be helped in Summer. Unfortunately had no time for breakfast today but did have a meal in the social last night and we are so glad that we did. Charlaine was very witty and prompt with her service. She was kind enough to make conversation asking about our stay, recommending meals to us, laughing with us and she made what looked quite a chaotic place; a nice environment. She had total strangers laughing together by the end of their meals and turned a regular dinner into something special. We all couldn’t compliment the atmosphere enough. What really helped was the morale you could see between the 3 girls running around, they were all high giving each other, helping one another out and really thriving under pressure. They would run to help each other quicker than we could blink thus making the fastest and most effective service we’ve ever seen! It is so rare to come across a team that works so well together but all of the staff here are truly wonderful! They really went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will most definitely come back here if ever we visit Birmingham again!

We’ve had dinner here 3 nights in a row and the staff have all been phenomenal. The hotel is so lovely from rooms to restaurant. Food is wonderful and the chef is hilarious! Our waitress Charlaine tonight has been the highlight along with her teammates Amirra and Tia. They bounce off each other very well. Lovely staycation. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed here the week on a work trip with a few lads, first night was mediocre at best and the staffs attitude was very lazy. Come the second night- what a change! The staff over the last few days have been immense, the banter was top notch, the service was awesome and the hotel is nice tbf. All I can say is that as it got busier then you could see the staff shift from jolly to overwhelmed but not Charlaine. She’d a kept a smile on from start to finish making time for every table even when we was just trying to wind her up. A proper good sport her and her real personality proper shon through her job which is talent because it’s easy to become robotic in hospitality. Wish we could move her up north and see her weekly because she’s proper LUSH (a welsh word she taught us) The rooms a good sizes, the bar is open til 3am and the night staff were dead patient with us because we’re quite rowdy. Lovely premier inn this one! Decors dead fancy downstairs in all, like walking into a VR room

The facilities at the hotel are adequate or satisfactory. When we arrived our door key card was not working properly. I informed the staff twice as I was twice locked out of my room and twice they reassured me it was fixed, either replacing or resetting the key card. Returning back to the hotel around 10.30pm we were locked out of our room for an hour until they eventually found a card key that worked. No apology was given.

We used the hotel for an overnight stay while coming for a show. Checked in no problem. The room had a really bad musty smell. So window had to be opened. It was clean and tidy. What annoyed us was kids running up and down corridors at 8am on a Sunday. Have respect for other guests. Came away to have child free time. Booked a taxi on Saturday night using the phone in reception and it took ages to turn up. So made us late for meeting friends. You need a code for the car park barrier. And it’s £8.50 to park in the hotel car park. It done the job

We have just stayed here on Friday and Saturday night and enjoyed one of the two days.Friday night was fine nice staff, warmish welcome and clean room however onto Saturday. We came down for breakfast and whilst waiting reserved a table in the restaurant for seven as we out all day and thought we'll just eat when we're back .Fast forward to getting back and we met with kids running up and down the corridors playing knock and run at first funny but not when it continually happens .I notified reception who responce was "it's the dance girls i can't believe they still let them stay her " now if they know this is an issue address it,also we arrived at seven for dinner to be met with a confused look about our reservation and found us a table that just became available. We ordered food to then wait an hour and when it came two dishes arrived then mine followed shortly after ,other two nearly finished before I had mine.So overall mixed days staff seemed rushed not a great stay

I recently stayed at the premier inn Aston brum city, and I was really impressed with the overal experience. The hotel was cleanand although not in the city directly it was easy to get around brum. I had amazing customer service from amira. She was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and professionally. I’d definitely recommend this Premier Inn, not just for the convenient, but also for the exceptional staff like amira who go above and beyond to make your stay enjyble.
