"We had a really love stay at this hotel. It was clean and modern and I really appreciated their effort in being more environmentally friendly. I’ve never had a recycling bin in the hotel room and this was appreciated from a recycling enthusiast! The staff were also helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was also amazing as we used the station at the University to get to both New Street and Bourneville during our stay."

📍 Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham

"I was genuinely surprised by how convenient the hotel's location was. It's just 20-30 meters from the train station, making it incredibly easy to reach. We could walk to every attraction, completely eliminating the need for public transportation. Chinatown being right next door was fantastic, offering endless dining options to suit all our family's tastes. The hotel itself was very quiet and comfortable, and it felt incredibly secure. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay!"

Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham ★★★★

📍 245 Broad St, Birmingham

"We have stayed in Leonardo Hotels before and have never been disappointed. Our stay in Birmingham was just the icing on the cake, from check in to check, the Staff were amazing. We were celebrating my husband 70 birthday and attending the British Golf Open. We were given free parking and a drink in the bar. Shannon was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Gabriel was in the bar and restaurant and so attentive and helpful. All staff were happy, helpful and gave fantastic Customer Service. The hotel was in a great location and the breakfast was lovely especially the Porridge, perfect. I would recommend this hotel and Leonardo hotels in general. Thank you for making our stay so special."

The Grand Hotel Birmingham

The Grand Hotel Birmingham ★★★★★

📍 1 Church St, Birmingham

"🌚 A truly terrible stay, incredibly inconvenient. The car park is a good 10-minute walk from the hotel. Plus, you have to navigate stairs from the hotel entrance to the reception, which is a real pain when you have luggage. 🌚 What was most infuriating was the abysmal service. On the evening of March 19th, the tall, Black female receptionist was incredibly rude. I arrived exhausted, and she didn't greet me at all. Her tone was impatient, and she just seemed completely indifferent, making us feel very unwelcome. 🌚 On the daytime shift on March 20th, there were two women working. The Black woman was polite, but the other, a white woman with black hair, was extremely rude. When we asked if the hotel could assist if we had any issues with the parking during our stay, she curtly replied that there was nothing they could do and we'd have to contact the car park ourselves. Overall, a very poor hotel experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre ★★★★
"Very nice hotel, spacious, comfortable and has everything we need. Design and feel is perhaps slightly bland, but it's not really a destination hotel, more of a place to stay while doing something in the area. Beds are good, shower is excellent, breakfast is very good. Parking is easy. Recommended."

The Grand Hotel Birmingham ★★★★★
"After checking in, we opened the door to find the previous guest’s beer and an uncleaned bathroom. The front desk staff were extremely indifferent. Later, we found out that they had given us the wrong room number. The whole experience was shocking, and the hotel offered no compensation or apology. This is far from the level of service expected from a hotel of this standard—extremely disappointing."
