We could walk to every attraction, completely eliminating the need for public transportation. Chinatown being right next door was fantastic, offering endless dining options to suit all our family's tastes. The hotel itself was very quiet and comfortable, and it felt incredibly secure. "We have stayed in Leonardo Hotels before and have never been disappointed. Our stay in Birmingham was just the icing on the cake, from check in to check, the Staff were amazing. We were celebrating my husband 70 birthday and attending the British Golf Open. We were given free parking and a drink in the bar. Shannon was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Gabriel was in the bar and restaurant and so attentive and helpful. All staff were happy, helpful and gave fantastic Customer Service. The hotel was in a great location and the breakfast was lovely especially the Porridge, perfect. I would recommend this hotel and Leonardo hotels in general. Thank you for making our stay so special."

"This is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. 1. No one helped with the luggage; I had to carry it up the stairs myself. 2. I booked an accessible room. When I called for slippers and a toothbrush at night, the staff member knocked impatiently again while I was getting dressed. When he handed me the items, he dropped them on the floor and didn't bother to pick them up, just telling me to come in. So rude! 3. The dispenser for hand soap and shower gel in the bathroom was very difficult to use. It scratched my hand and took off a small piece of skin."
