We had two relaxing days at this lovely guest house. Complimentary breakfast and Chris who is one of the owners of the guesthouse made our stay so enjoyable. Rooms were a good size and the beds and linen were exceptional. Highly recommended . The Guesthouse is within an easy walk to the township

I have stayed at Kubba Roonga Guesthouse four times over the last few years and I highly recommend it. It is a very charming, historic and ornate guesthouse in a quiet and leafy street in one of the nicest parts of the Blue Mountains. Relaxing in one of the cosy Kubba Roonga spas on a cold day in the mountains is an exquisite treat that one should definitely indulge in! The manager, Chris, is a very friendly and helpful gentleman who provides many useful tips about what to do and see and where to eat in the local area. I will definitely stay there again and would not stay anywhere else when I am in the Blue Mountains. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine but, given that it was our 20th wedding anniversary (the owner knew this), that I had booked directly and had paid a few months in advance, that all the other rooms were empty for all 3 nights of our stay, it would have been nice to have had a better room (we had the smallest room), ..... - there was no effort to make our stay seem at all special and we felt this was a chance missed by the owner. Our room was also extremely expensive for what it was. Never mind !!

We had a wonderful stay for two nights, and would recommend this lovely experience to all. It was clear from the outset that the owners have taken enormous care to make every aspect of our stay a memorable, comfortable and enjoyable. The home is meticulously maintained, and lovingly decorated. The open fire, soft music and beautiful gardens match the nourishing breakfast. Amazing walks such as the Clifftop and Grand Canyon are just moments away, as are wonderful restaurants such as Ates. We were lucky enough to also be around for the Katoomba Winter Magic Festival with fireworks, music and stalls.

The ambience and service at Kubba Roonga was outstanding. Chris goes above and beyond for his guests. This is an absolutely stunning historical guesthouse. Beautiful breakfast, immaculate rooms, and cosy nooks to sit and read - whilst enjoying a Port should you choose. Chris sets the tone so all guests enjoy their stay. Truly a home away from home.
