Kyah Hotel ★★★★

📍 13-17 Brightlands Ave, Blackheath

"The hotel was good for its price. The bathroom was a little dirty and it was disappointing there was no bathtub when description said there was one. The staff at the lobby was also hard to reach. The amenities such as hot tub and bikes were good."

High Mountains Motor Inn ★★★

📍 193-195 Great Western Hwy, Blackheath

"Nice, quiet motel. Friendly staffs. One of few properties that provide room with 1 queen and 3 single beds for family of 5. Room was nice and clean, even have heated blankets for the cold winter. Thank you."

Chalets at Blackheath

Chalets at Blackheath ★★★★

📍 394 Evans Lookout Rd, Blackheath

"Absolutely perfect romantic venue. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, the service was incredible and the snack drawers was a huge plus. We stayed in one night and ordered the broads that they have and that was delicious."

Rowan Brae Historic Guesthouse
8.7 (28 reviews)

Rowan Brae Historic Guesthouse ★★★★

📍 284 Great Western Highway, Blackheath

"Where to start? The room was grubby, the carpet looked like it hadnt been vaccumed in long time. The bed was actually broken, and the mattress sunken. The sheets were very old and thin, and the pllows lumpy and worn. The gardens were lovely but there was nothing to sit on outside except some hard metal chairs. The breakfast was really basic: totally DIY, with sliced bread out of a packet, stale cereal, horrible coffee pods, never enough clean crockery. Parking is a struggle when the place is fully occupied. And there is no housekeeping. All this at the price of a decent hotel room. But the thing that really annoyed me - this is supposed to be a guest house. When I go to a guest house I expect to be treated like a guest. Which means someone greets me, pops up occasionally to make sure all is ok, makes one feel welcome. At RowanBrae it's self check-in. At no stage did the proprietor(s) make any kind of appearance, so we might as well have been staying in a motel - which would have been half the price and I dare say more comfortable. I simply cannot fathom the glowing review this place seems to attract."

"Very new hotel, although the area is slightly smaller, there are all facilities. The manager is a Chinese Mr. Zhou, with a friendly and generous face. The yard is very large for parking and a very pleasant stay."

Secrets Hideaway ★★★★
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Secrets Hideaway. Everything we could have wanted for was provided, and much more; we were staying just after Christmas, and the host provided a lovely hamper of Christmas goodies! The location is perfect for exploring the Blue Mountains more generally, but is also a short walk from Evan’s Lookout. The room was clean, tidy, and felt cozy, even in the summer. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area! "
