The Arthington

This is a great friendly guest house where nothing is too much trouble for Steve and Elaine. They also have a bonus of parking but I was lucky enough to get a space on the street. Offered tea or coffee on check in which was a lovely touch and a brief chat to explain everything. Steve very kindly took my case to my room and explained everything as it has a smart TV and also Amazon echo. The single room 6 is lovely with a double bed and has a great theme going on with a jeans headboard and pillows. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed very comfortable. Also a well stocked hospitality tray. The breakfast menu is extensive with something for everyone and I also liked the fresh fruit and yogurt and freshly brewed coffee. I will definitely be booking again

First time for me in room 4, huge spacious bathroom & smart TV, bed so comfy, everything you could possibly need, all mod cons, is that even a thing anymore lol, all the extras that you wouldn't expect, breakfast amazing as always, delicious & plentiful, Steve & Elaine are the best hosts, deliver personalised care, all the best service, 5 minute walk to tram stop but also order taxi for you, should you require it, mum in law in room 1, beautiful decor, again huge comfortable bed, all the added touches, made for an amazing stay, even managed a couple of days sunshine & enjoyed a prosecco sat outside the front of the arthington

My wife and I had another wonderful stay at the Arthington. We have been staying here twice a year for several years and have had a fantastic stay on every occasion. Steve and Elaine are the best hosts that you could wish for and the rooms are immaculate and very well equipped. The breakfast is lovely and the breakfast menu caters for all tastes and appetites. A reasonably priced and well stocked guest bar is also open in the evenings for residents, we didn't get the opportunity to have adrink this time but normally enjoy a drink and a chat with Steve and Elaine and often the other guests. We will be back again later in the year and would urge anyone looking for a place to stay in Blackpool to try here first. It's a two minute walk from St Chad's tram stop, so getting around is a doddle. Parking also available on request.

An amazing couple of days stay with my family rented whole accommodation so got to see all rooms, from funky unique and stylish rooms to amazing hosts in Steve and Elaine and the breakfast was 👌🏻 Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in blackpool you won’t be disappointed

Elaine and Steve really are exceptional hosts who make you feel welcome the moment you arrive. There is literally nothing that they have not thought of from refillable drinks station, ear plugs, shower cap, toiletries, decaf and caffeinated drinks, a vastly stocked bar and so much more. We opted for the largest room with a super king bed which was very large by Blackpool standards and the attention to detail is fabulous. Breakfast is at a whole new level with cereals, a large array of fresh fruit, a variety of hot options which are delicious and freshly cooked. Then there’s toast with preserves and yoghurts. They also cater to dietary requirements with notice. We are dairy free and we could not of asked for more. Due to it being Christmas the guest house was decorated beautifully with sweets everywhere. It’s like being at home you feel so comfortable. To add to everything else the tram stop is right at the end of the road along with the beach. Just perfect. Thank you for a terrific stay 🙏

We have just got back from what we can only describe as the best stay we've had in Blackpool! Stephen and Elaine met us on arrival and promptly brought us a pot of coffee and tea along with biscuits! Heaven! Stephen was very quick to take us to our room and carried the bags 😊 They are the most friendly, helpful, warm and delightful couple, nothing was too much trouble. It's a beautiful, quirky boutique guesthouse with everything you could possibly wish for. The decor is outstanding and everywhere is spotless! The rooms have beautiful toiletries, a coffee maker, a kettle alongside a tray of every tea and coffee you could imagine. Alexa is there too and free WiFi. The bed was sooo comfortable, we didn't want to leave. Parking is there too, either outside the hotel or a few metres up the road with secure parking for £6 only. WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK ❤️
