"We arrived as early as 11AM and thankfully given early check in. Any hotel that did this is 5 stars in my book!
Room and bathroom were clean. Drinkable water can be obtained from dispenser in the hallway. Breakfast was nice! Great selection of food, snacks, pastries, cereals, etc.
Hotel location is in the heart of the city. Probably the only minus point was, as a property the hotel is not the most spacious, so less parking area available. Bunch of cars tend to queue in the morning picking up the outgoing guests."

"This was my first time taking my infant on a road trip, and we chose Grand Mercure Malang based on its strong reputation and positive reviews. I'm happy to say that the experience lived up to expectations.
The room we stayed in was clean and offered a spectacular mountain view. Upon arrival, we were initially assigned a room that was still being cleaned, but the hotel staff quickly realized the mistake and rectified it promptly. We also requested a baby crib, which was delivered shortly after without any issues.
The bathroom was well-stocked with amenity kits, and there were plenty of clothes hangers available. The shower pressure was strong and very comfortable.
I made use of the gym and swimming pool during our stay. The gym was well-equipped with a squat rack, a full set of dumbbells, a cable machine, and two benches. The swimming pool was pleasantly warm, which made for an enjoyable experience.
Our room included breakfast, and there was a wide variety of food options available. The service throughout was kind and respectful. I would say the barista at the coffee counter could benefit from more training to improve their cappuccino-making skills, but it was still acceptable.
I will definitely return to this hotel for future stays. I've also included some photos to help others considering booking here. Thanks again to the Mercure Malang team for a great stay!"

"Ibis have shown that they deserve credit for their efforts to maintain their standard of cleanliness. The room is clean and the location is strategic enough to be in the centre of Malang City with a nearby mart and coffee shop. I love to come and stay in Ibis again. Thank you Ibis!"

"Near Persada hospital, breakfast place so hot. Old building. Wifi not so strong sometime disconnect by itself. Staff friendly. Spa so bad i think they dont know what are they doing. Hotel atmosphere always dark."

"Your hotel is comfortable . Breakfast was good and have variety choices. The service in the front desk and restaurant are both good too, especially during breakfast the waitress are friendly and ready to help. During my Check in the front desk help pretty quick too. The bus boy took my luggage right away being send to my room. Has free coffee or tea in the lounge is a good thing . The non smoking room is clean and not too small, bathroom facilities is good. The cupboards have many hangers I like that. The price is not too cheap, average price. Overall I enjoyed my stay . I don’t mind recommending to friends."

GGuest UserThere was no hot water, and the landlord slept. I was sorry to disturb. No one was on duty after 10 o'clock.
The first time I stayed at the hotel, I had a cold. After taking a cold shower, I blew an air conditioner and it was uncomfortable. Fortunately, it was not serious. The key Malang still has activities that day, and the hotel price is half expensive.
