"This was my first time taking my infant on a road trip, and we chose Grand Mercure Malang based on its strong reputation and positive reviews. I'm happy to say that the experience lived up to expectations. The room we stayed in was clean and offered a spectacular mountain view. Upon arrival, we were initially assigned a room that was still being cleaned, but the hotel staff quickly realized the mistake and rectified it promptly. We also requested a baby crib, which was delivered shortly after without any issues. The bathroom was well-stocked with amenity kits, and there were plenty of clothes hangers available. The shower pressure was strong and very comfortable. I made use of the gym and swimming pool during our stay. The gym was well-equipped with a squat rack, a full set of dumbbells, a cable machine, and two benches. The swimming pool was pleasantly warm, which made for an enjoyable experience. Our room included breakfast, and there was a wide variety of food options available. The service throughout was kind and respectful. I would say the barista at the coffee counter could benefit from more training to improve their cappuccino-making skills, but it was still acceptable. "Super great hotel. Really clean, nice staff and amazing, I mean amazing, breakfast. The breakfast had so many western and Indonesian options. Even some Chinese options that I was happy to see. They can even make fresh noodles or cook eggs for you. The staff was so accommodating. We went on a three day trip and they let us keep our luggage there for those days. They also helped up to order taxis and figure out how to get train tickets. Next to the hotel is a nice bakery, I enjoyed eating their sweets while drinking some tea provided by the hotel and looking out the window 😊"

"Very good, arrived in Malang at 9... wandered around while waiting for check-in time. ... but tired from culinary tours, finally arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock even though check-in time was still a long way off (2 o'clock).. waiting... finally at 1 o'clock we were allowed to enter because the room was ready Thank you very much Ibish Styles Hotel👍"
