The overall experience exceeded expectations. It is a great hotel and is recommended by locals. The advantages are that it is clean, the facilities are well maintained, the staff is friendly and greets you proactively, and the breakfast has a wide variety, which is great! The only downside is that it uses a traditional key, not a door card, and the door does not have an anti-theft buckle

Ich hatte nicht gewußt, dass das Hotel direkt an das Musical Theater des ”Starlight Express” angrenzt. Fand ich zumindest interessant, auch wenn ich mir keine Musicals anschaue. Gut fand ich schon bei der Ankunft, dass es direkt am Hotel Parkplätze gibt. Ich war früher am Hotel als der früheste Zeitpunkt des Eincheckens. Das war kein Problem und ich mußte nicht in der Lobby warten. Fand ich sehr positiv. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, ebenso wie das Bad und auch das Bett. Auch wenn das Zimmer direkt zum Autobahnzubringer lag, war der Verkehr nicht hörbar. Allerdings nur bei geschlossenem Fenster. Für Leute, die mit offenem Fenster schlafen, wird es laut! Das Frühstück war lecker und da war bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei. Einzig der Spa Bereich ist winzig. Im Saunabereich ist eigentlich nur Platz für max. 4 Leute: 2 in der Sauna, 2 auf der Ruheliegen. Ein Wort noch zu Bochum. Ich war noch nie dort und ich freue mich immer auf meinen Reisen, die bereiste Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Vom Hotel sind es ca. 20Min bis in die Stadtmitte. Ich war total enttäuscht. An einem Sonntag Nachmittag war die City fast menschenleer. Vielleicht ist eine Auto freie Innenstadt nicht immer eine gute Idee...?

Very nice staff. Breakfast buffet is sufficient, versatile and delicious. Bar itself late in the evening still super service and snacks possible. Rooms were clean, friendly furnished and large. Around the surroundings very recommended!

The location is very good, opposite the train station, next to the hotel is the subway, walking along the road is Bochum city centre. The hotel staff are very polite and have the strict style of the Germans. The room facilities are properly arranged, but compared to the majority of hotels in the country, and although the buffet breakfast is dazzling, but as the Chinese said that they are not used to eating, it is better to go back to the room to eat biscuits and drink juice.

Hotel is located right at the back door of Bochumer main railway station. Unfortunately not the best area with many homeless. The hotel itself has come in the years rather, but clean. The staff are very friendly.

We could only make positive experiences with the Hotel Haus Vocke. The receptionist has received us very friendly, the rooms were very clean and very clean and had really something of holiday feeling. If I'm in Bochum again, I'll definitely book Hotel Haus Vocke again.
