Bogota Usaquen Hotels

I am bias with this place. I did an intership in this hotel 28 years ago and I absolutely love Hotel Hacienda Santa Barbara. It is still quite elegant and the area where is located is one of the best in the city. The service, the room, the bathroom, they are all great. I really love the breakfast buffet for the top quality of the food and the variety of native Colombian fruits. The staff (Edwin in the front desk, Don Pedro and Ana in the restaurant..) are extremely helpful and efficient. I will alway try to book this place whenever in Bogotá. Thank you

The Faranda Hotel is a good option to stay in the North part of Bogotá. However, the access to the hotel is a bit tricky because of the road work at the moment of writing this review (07/2023). The room was basic/average. The hotel advertised to have a sauna but it did not. The gym was underwhelming. The restaurant looks really nice but the way the breakfast buffet is set is not the best. It look cramped in a small part of the restaurant. The choices for breakfast are very few.

The overall level is three-star in China, and it is OK here. The hotel is in a good location, close to the embassy, there are multiple supermarkets next to it, and there is a Chinese supermarket where you can buy dumplings. It is convenient to go anywhere.

A wonderful hotel, especially with the receptionists who are very responsible and attentive to anything that may happen. He owes him a favor as a bodyguard.

I had always felt very good in this hotel, everyone had been so kind and respectful until today, December 3, 2023, at checkout, when the vulgar and unpleasant receptionist faced a mistake that we did not make, because according to her the payment was not I had made prior to check in I was going to call the police, the day we entered we asked if the payment had been made and they told us yes. We then proposed that they send us a payment link but they did not do it and they did not do it, instead this woman behaved like a vegetable seller, yelling at us and entertaining us in front of the other guests who were checking out, she is definitely not a suitable person To deal with humans, he knows no decency, much less customer service. An efficient and respectful person is supposed to be at a reception, but this lady does not have an iota of decency or education. Well on the other hand I want to give a special recognition to the girl in charge of the restaurant Dyana who should be in a position as reception since she is the most decent and kind person, always attentive to everything and with all her charisma she gets my 10/10 , this is quality staff, the same for Carlos, the bellboy who is full of kindness and efficiency. I recommend you be more efficient in providing. Several payment alternatives were provided to its clients, on a Sunday there was no one to enable a payment link or anyone to monitor the hotel's security.

Aunque ya es la tercera vez que nos hospedamos en este hotel siguen conservando buena calidad pero hay que atender las instalaciones con más cuidado, el desayuno como siempre muy delicioso y está buen ubicado, gracias por recibirnos de nuevo
