The Insel Hotel was, as always (this is not the first or my last stay there), friendly, clean and comfortable table. The hotel is centrally located in the Bad Godesberg neighborhood of Bonn near the rail station. The breakfast is great.

Schönes Hotel in toller Lage direkt in der Fussgängerzone. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Sehr freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges und ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet. Ein- und auschecken ging ruckzuck. Sehr nahe an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus und Stadtbahn). Einziges Manko ist der kleine Parkplatz, reisen Sie daher frühzeitig an. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ganz einfach ausgezeichnet. Knappe 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Bahnhof entfernt ist dieses kleine und gemütliche Hotel. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, aber dennoch groß genug. Nur das Bad und die Dusche/Wanne sind etwas klein. Die Betten waren leider ein wenig zu hart fur meinen Rücken. Dafür ist das Frühstück besonders ausgiebig, und man kann ganz gesund bleiben oder ganz einfach alles genießen was das Buffet bietet. Empfehlenswert sind die Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den Theaterplatz; sie sind etwas größer und bieten eine Ausblick auf recht viel Leben: es wird nie langweilig, und überraschenderweise ist es dort Abends und Nachts und Frühmorgens überhaupt nicht laut. Die Zimmer werden zwar recht warm, weil es keine Lüftung oder Klimaanlage gibt, aber mit offenem Fenster schläft man sehr gut. Rund um das Hotel befinden sich zahlreiche Geschäfte mit allem was so braucht, z.B. zwei Rewe, ein kleines Einkaufszentrum und zahlreiche Eiscafes und Restaurants. Ideal für den kleinen Einkaufsbummel. Besser könnte es gar nicht sein. Für einen Touristen wie mich war das Hotel ganz einfach perfekt und die Nähe zum Bahnhof macht alles andere leicht erreichbar. Ganz einfach ausgezeichnet.

Très bel hôtel situé à qq kms de Bonn,un tram direct vous y conduit. Les chambres rénovées sont magnifiques, confortables, très propres, douche spacieuse, excellente literie et délicieux petit déjeuner,fruits et jus d'oranges frais, sucré salé grand choix de fromages français. Ils ont un restaurant très agréable, bonne cuisine et beau choix de tartes. Rapport qualité-prix imbattable.

Wir waren mit mehreren Familien hier. Das Hotel ist zweckdienlich, zentral gelegen und erinnert mich an die Zeiten der Hauptstadt der Bonner Republik. Das Servicepersonal bekommt 5 Sterne (vor allem Jessica) die eine nicht einfache Gruppe von ca. 10 Personen inkl. Kindern mit Bravour und Charme gemeistert hat. Das Essen war gut, zu empfehlen ist die Blutwurst. Einziger Hinweis: warum muss ich als Hotelgast zum Frühstück reservieren? Und dann muss ich meinen Tisch für eine Reservierung räumen?

Mitten in der Innenstadt von Bad Godesberg gelegen ist das besonders freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal ein Asset des Hotels. Die Einzelzimmer sind klein und zweckmäßig, haben aber Klimatisierung. AufWunsch gibt es Nackenstützkissen. Das Frühstück bietet eine ordentliche Auswahl. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass man sich eine Obst und Gemüsesaft frisch zubereiten kann. Ichwerde definitiv wieder hier nächtigen….

Wir waren jetzt zum 4-mal hintereinander wieder im Insel Hotel in Bad Godesberg und waren bis zum letzten Jahr immer zufrieden. Wir werden dieses Hotel jedoch in der Zukunft nicht mehr buchen, da der Service (Zimmer und auch Restaurant) ein so genannter NON-SERVICE geworden ist. Bei 4 Nächten Aufenthalt wurde das Zimmer 1- Mal gemacht. Wir hatten darum gebeten, das wir dann aber tägliche frische Handtücher haben möchten, was uns per Email vorab zugesichert wurde. Noch nicht einmal diese geringe Dienstleistung hat funktioniert. Wir wollten um 17.30 Uhr im Restaurant essen,. Die Speisekarte wurde uns nach Nachfrage gegeben, jedoch hat sich der Kellner 18 Minuten nicht mehr blicken lassen, so dass wir wieder gegangen sind. Dazu muss man sagen, dass ein junger großer schlanker Kellner sich vor den Kaffeeautomaten versteckt hat und ununterbrochen privat telefoniert hat. Als er uns dann 1,5 Stunden später auf der Terrasse mit Getränken bedienen wollte, hat er uns einfach nur angelogen. Nur der Preis ist hoch geblieben und wurde nicht dem NON-SERVICE in diesem Hotel angepasst. NIE wieder Insel-Hotel.
