"No hospitality at all ! Just checked in, the receptionist is so rude and we booked river view room and we don’t see the river from the window! Receptionist Annika said to me “ if you don’t take it , you can leave “ as a member of Dorint , I was shocked with the service from this hotel! I don’t recommend other guests to stay this hotel! Absolutely no 5 star , bad service , the room and corridor are dirty and out off date ! There is also safety issue that pitfall next to the lift make people stumble! There is also construction nearby the hotel which made a mess around the hotel ! I showed my membership card at reception and asked two rooms could be next to each other so that we could take care of the elderly guests, even though hotel team confirmed via email to make this arrangement possible but disappointingly they asked €60 upgrade fees and threatened us to leave if we don’t accept the rooms! Such bad behavior of the personnel and management are totally not acceptable!"

"It was not very easy to find due to the name not being what expected it to so that was a bit confusing. Otherwise the the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good! Add bacon and it would have 5 points on all accounts. That being said, I would highly recommend it."

"The location is excellent, with the Rhine River in front and Bonn University behind. It is also very close to Beethoven's former residence, a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel interior has been renovated, and the rooms are small. The facilities are a bit old, especially the elevator. It is the first time I have seen manual door opening and closing, which is a style from decades ago. The hotel staff is very good. Toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers and kettle all need to be asked from the front desk separately. It is about 3 stars in China."

"Great location - our room overlooked the Rhine. The room was good, the bed comfortable, a good size shower and good water pressure. The colour design and decor were interesting. The boss (AKA the wife) said it reminded her of Austin Powers 😅. That said, it was modern, clean, comfortable, and we would definitely stay there again. The low overall rating was owing to the fact thst the air conditioning for the building was on the fritz. The first night was uncomfortably hot and sticky. It was fixed by our second night."
