Booked this quite last minute for our party of six. Clean and comfortable rooms, quite small but had everything we needed. We were greeted at reception by a friendly gentleman but there were no staff on duty and the restaurant was closed (no breakfast either). The hotel gave the impression that it was shut for the season.

After reading some of the reviews, I can only confirm that this hotel doesn`t manage Credit Cards very well. After making a reservation online I received a booking confirmation. Then went on a business trip. When I got back I had missed calls on my phone, tried to call back - wasn`t able to reach anybody. Wrote an E-Mail with (again) my credit card infos. All i received in return was a cancellation of the booking. If the matter is so urgent, I would expect to receive an E-Mail in order to clarify the matter, but apparently this is too much to ask. So if you book, have your mobile phone on you at all times, otherwise you`re out - thats "service" for you.

Highly recommend. Clean and chic hotel with comfortable beds. Extra pillows were conveniently available. Restaurant/bar had upscale feel without upscale prices. Quiet surroundings. Private parking was easy and convenient. All in all, a very good value for the price.

Small but the best hotel, the service was excellent 5 out of 5 stars But the food at the restaurant could be better took a Schnitzel was very dry, but that was the only thing that was negativ Breakfast excellent and close to the Rein and Boppard.

My wife and I spent two nights at this nice little hotel. We do not travel very often in Europe, but we wanted to spend some time in a village instead of a larger city. We also wanted to visit castles and see the outdoors. This was a perfect place. We traveled by train, and were a little worried about getting to the hotel from the train station, but it was about a 10 minute walk, and it wasn't bad at all (although a little uphill...). We could probably rode in a cab, but we decided to try it. Boppard - Bad Salzig was very small village with cobblestone sidewalks, and beautiful houses. We felt very safe. The hotel was very economical compared to some of the nicer hotels around, and had wonderful dinners and breakfasts available. The location was perfect for us as we took the train to the various castles and locations we wanted to visit, and the stay included free train passes for the local area. The visit was much better than we would have imagined, and we are so glad to have found this little place.

We thought that we had booked a hotel in BOPPARD not a suburb, but we couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. What a wonderful hotel, quirky rooms, and so so quiet. This hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. I read a review and someone said that you must have at least a meal whilst staying there, good job I read that as the food was exceptional. Definitely a hotel that YOU SHOULD VISIT

Joli petit hôtel à quelques centaines de mètres du Rhin mais installé dans un beau cadre de verdure. Le jardin est largement fleuri et doté de fauteuils et tables de jardin, notre chambre (New York) était petite mais complète (salle de bain bien équipée, balcon avec mobilier de jardin, TV et chaîne Hifi, jolie décoration sur le thème de la chambre, ...), sans airco mais avec un ventilateur au plafond. Mais cet hôtel est remarquable par la qualité de son service, depuis la patronne jusqu'au personnel. Tous sont en permanence à l'écoute de vos besoins sans être envahissant. Si vous réservez le parking, vous aurez la délicate attention d'avoir une place à votre nom (petit panneau - voir photo). Tant le petit-déjeuner que le dîner sont d'un excellent niveau : choix, qualité des produits, service, cadre, ... Tout pour être mmmhhhh, bien. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Attention, l'hôtel a 2 étages mais pas d'ascenseur.

Fantastisch gelegen aan kuuroord / park. Zeer rustig en groen. De kamer met balkon was heerlijk. Ruim, leuk ingericht en van alles voorzien. Bijzonder aardig personeel. Bad Salzig is slechts 4,5 km van Boppard gelegen. Daar kan je de restaurants en winkels vinden. In het dorp zelf kan je bij de bakker of supermarkt terecht voor een ontbijtje. De huidige omstandigheden hebben de eigenaren ertoe gebracht het hotel om te bouwen tot meer zelfstandige kamers en appartementen met kleine keuken. Dat pakt hopelijk goed uit. Het pand is werkelijk prachtig.
