We got 1 level up floor with better view and theres no more leaking or any other trouble.

Excellent location—just a few steps from Raffles City, a great mall that’s also conveniently connected to the metro system. You can hop on the green line and go straight to the airport for only RMB 7.00!
The room was clean and spacious, and I especially loved the thick, fresh towels. The front desk staff didn’t speak English, but they made up for it with 110% effort and warm service.
I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Shanghai!

The hotel has a very convenient location — right by the main pedestrian street, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and easy access to the metro. There’s a small gym, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, they even let me check in an hour early after a long flight. Breakfast was decent by Chinese standards.
The only downside was that my room had no view of the city, but on the plus side, it was perfectly quiet and I couldn’t hear any noise from the busy street, which made it easy to sleep.
Overall, a good stay for the price.

The hotel is situated near a metro station so access is generally nice. Interior design is modern and the staff here are all very friendly and helpful as well. It’s also only minutes away from Huangpu River and a ferry pier with a route heading to Lujiazui where oriental pearl tower is. It’s a pleasant experience staying at this hotel.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel! What I loved the most was the super comfy bed. I had a deep, restful sleep and woke up feeling fresh and energized.
As a Muslim, I only had the vegetables and bread for breakfast since most of the spread was Chinese style with pork. But I truly appreciated that the reception staff could speak English, it made communication so much easier.
Also, thank you for preparing a packed meal for me when I checked in late and missed the night buffet. That thoughtful gesture really made my night.
Overall, this hotel is excellent and I fully recommend it for a comfortable and peaceful stay!

This is my second time booking with Atour. My first experience was in Guangzhou Zhuhiangxingcheng which I loved so much, so I booked Atour for our Shanghai trip. The location is perfect for the places we want to visit (Lujiazui, the Bund, Nanjing Road). It is less than two blocks from the Bund center. The hotel is small but has everything we need. Staff are very helpful. Atour will definitely be my choice for traveling in China. BTW, the price is at median level. We paid $300/night though we booked months before our trip. It is still pretty cheap compared to the hotels around that area. This is our first trip to China. We went to several places and Shanghai is our favorite!

We loved this hotel! They upgraded us and were so efficient at check in. I was shocked by how good the view was and we had a bathtub in the room too, the room was very spacious. Great service, whatever we asked for they had someone bring within 5 minutes. There’s a robot to deliver take out that is quick too.
Cleanliness was good, cleaning aunties were lovely. They had a lot of amenities provided like sleep mask etc and a bathtub bag that was replaced daily. Near the lifts you can grab extra combs, toothbrushes etc if you needed it, so that was convenient. Bed was very comfortable, loved the pillows. Block out curtains did a good job and I didn’t hear any sounds- overall great sleep.
Such an amazing location near the bund w a fantastic river view, I would stay here again in a heart beat. Also they always have 2 doormen at any time who helped to carry the luggage up the stairs and bring to the room etc. Even very late at night they’re there which does help to make the lobby security feel more secure.

I stayed at Pujing Weiting Hotel with my wife and had a generally pleasant stay. The location is excellent—just a 1-minute walk from Xinzha Road Subway Station and close to People’s Square, which made it very convenient for getting around Shanghai. Although we didn’t get the exact room we originally booked, possibly due to building upgrades, the hotel offered us free breakfast as a kind gesture. The breakfast variety wasn't huge, but it was enough to start the day. The room was cozy and featured high-tech voice control, which was a nice touch. While the cleanliness could be improved a little, we still found the room comfortable. We noticed the same category room we originally booked being cleaned the next day, and it looked great—hope we get to stay in that one next time!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel Classics (Shanghai Nanjing East Road)!
The room was spotless, well-furnished, and very comfortable. Complimentary limitless bottled water and coffee were provided.
The hotel located at strategic and great location – just a short walk from major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation.
Highly recommend to stay at this hotel. Great value for the price and it comes with excellent service.

When I stepped into the lobby of the hotel, I was immediately attracted by its luxury and elegance. The spacious and bright space, beautifully decorated, exudes a noble and warm atmosphere, which makes people feel comfortable.
The check-in process was extremely smooth. The front desk staff was warm, friendly, professional and efficient. Not only did they quickly check me in, but they also introduced the hotel's facilities and services in detail, which made me feel the hotel's caring care at the first time.
The hotel's elevator is spacious and runs smoothly and quickly, without long waiting, which provides great convenience for guests' travel.
After entering the room, I was very satisfied with the hygiene of the room. Every corner was spotless, and the bed was flat and clean, as if telling me the hotel's high standards for hygiene. Moreover, there was no odor in the room at all, and the air was fresh and pleasant, which made people feel happy.
The facilities in the room were also excellent. The TV had a clear picture and rich and diverse channels, allowing me to enjoy entertainment programs in my spare time. The air conditioning had excellent cooling and heating effects, and there was almost no noise during operation, creating a quiet and comfortable rest environment for me. The Internet speed is very fast, and there is no pressure for work or entertainment, which allows me to keep in close contact with the outside world at all times.
The hotel provides high-quality guest supplies, from towels to slippers, each one is soft, comfortable and full of texture. The toiletries are carefully selected, with high-quality brands, very comfortable to use, giving people a sense of home.
The hot water supply is very stable, and the water temperature is just right, which is very comfortable whether taking a bath or washing your face. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress has moderate hardness, providing me with an excellent sleeping experience. Moreover, the sound insulation of the room is very good, with almost no noise interference, allowing me to sleep peacefully every night until I wake up naturally.
The breakfast on the second day amazed me even more. The restaurant has an elegant environment and a rich variety of dishes, covering Chinese, Western and local specialties. Each dish is carefully made, with good color, fragrance and taste, which makes people's appetite increase. The waiters are warm and thoughtful, and provide timely help to the guests, making the whole dining process more enjoyable.
In short, this hotel performed very well in all aspects, whether it was the luxury of the lobby, the convenience of check-in, the complete facilities or the thoughtful service, I was deeply impressed. I strongly recommend this hotel to all friends who need to travel and stay, and I believe you will definitely have a great time here!

AAC-Trip514This hotel is located on the corner of People's square on the East Nanjing road. Two minutes walk to station line 1, 2 & 8 which is very convenient and about 15-20 mins walk to the Bund. The lighting on the buildings around the Bund area starts from 6:00 - 10:00 pm where you can get some beautiful shots of the scenery. Staff at the reception desk speak fluent English which is great and you can choose to have morning breakfast there which is average or go out to eat. Wear a good pair of shoes as there's lots of walking and discovery on Nanjing road. Highly recommend it to everyone.

GGuest UserI've previously stayed in the Drama, though it has been a number of years. The facilities are as I remember them to be. That is remarkable, given that the Drama has been in operation for a number of years. The Hotel staff have prioritised maintenance and have done a good job at keeping the place reasonably refreshed.
The hospitality showed to me was wonderful. I did not feel out of place or neglected at any point during the 5 days I was with the Drama. From the Front Desk, to Housekeeping and even Maintenance, everyone was kind, courteous and warm in making me feel at home. As one small example of the hospitality - the Drama had an arrangement where simple supper was provided for all occupants. It felt nice to come back from a long day exploring Shanghai to a bowl of warm porridge.
I would definitely return to the Drama again. Looking forward to my next visit!

BBrookeThis is opulent and decadent. There is a special events room, restaurant, pool, spa and sauna, and best for me was the bathtub (and shower) in the room. Because of the tub, I didn't even go to the pool. I had room service, and they didn't speak English, but came to my room to take my order in person. I had a burger, fries and Caesar salad and a beer. It was very good. I enjoyed breakfast in the morning, it was expansive and amazing, plus juices and coffee. I was able to try so many things. There were choices if you wanted Continental, but Chinese things as well.
I liked it and had an amazing night's sleep.
I only have pictures of the tub and my breakfast. I would stay again. Also, I went off in the Didi and returned and it was easy to come and go.

GGuest UserThe room was amazing with a stunning view. On the whole it was a fantastic stay but there were one or two issues- 1. The yoga mats in the gym were filthy. And 2. I was bothered on a few occasions by cleaners or people coming to knock on the door e.g.the cleaner came inside the room even though I said it was too late and I didn't want the room to be cleaned now. It was around 5pm and no one had cleaned the room during the day, but by that time I was ready to relax. There was a language barrier so she just came in and started replacing snacks and drinks and tried to start cleaning up in the bathroom and I had to ask her to leave. I noticed before I left that there was a button for 'do not disturb' but it wasn't obvious so it would be good for the staff to mention that when showing you to your room. I also think it's a good idea for them to have a book with information regarding the restaurant, gym, spa etc.etc. there's some info on the TV but it isn't very detailed.

GGuest UserMe and my girlfriend booked a one night stay at the Regent Pudong for her birthday. I would like to start off by saying Robin was fantastic from start to finish. I emailed several hotels for more information on spa and dietary information but Regent was the only one that got back to me thanks to Robin. He was also very helpful and added some nice touches to our stay during check in.
We stayed at the King Club Regent room with the Pearl view. Needless to say, the view was amazing and the decor and details were beautiful. The free minibar had decent offering. There were many amenities but no sanitary pads.
Spa was amazing with a great view. We booked the Legend Reborn massage and we enjoyed it lot, the pressure was just right. They arranged an English speaking masseuse for my girlfriend which was a nice touch. The only disappointment that we had was that both the sauna and steam room was not working in the female spa section.
As we stayed in the club room, we enjoyed afternoon tea in the club lounge. The view was once again, beautiful but there weren't many vegan options. However, one positive was that all the food had dietary information labeled which is hard to find in China.
The breakfast was fantastic, there were many options from Asian to Western cuisines, all of which were very tasty! Again, dietary information was there for each dishes. The only feedback is that some food was mislabeled as vegan despite having egg/diary in them!
Service was a highlight; from check in, afternoon tea, breakfast, the spa and check out. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English and have great attention to detail.
Overall, I would recommend Regent Pudong and would definitely stay again.

GGuest UserWe booked a Parent-Kid Suite, which was advertised to accommodate four adults, but throughout our stay, only three towels were provided. Additionally, the only bathroom is located right next to one of the bedrooms, with no door and a fully transparent shower space. This setup is extremely awkward and inconvenient unless you’re traveling with very young children. The noise from the bathroom also inevitably disturbs whoever is sleeping in that bedroom.
Another disappointment was the check-in process. We arrived at the hotel around 4 PM, but the front desk informed us that our room was still not ready due to a late check-out from the previous guests. This was frustrating, especially after a long flight, as we had expected to check in on time and freshen up immediately.
That said, aside from the strange room layout, the hotel does have its positives. The location is great, with a partial view of The Bund, and the price is reasonable for this area.
Overall, while the hotel has potential, the room design and service need improvement.
