The touch panel controls for lights and curtains are intuitive and easy to use. The bathroom has excellent water pressure, making for a very pleasant shower experience. When we returned from our day out, the room had already been tidied up, and all amenities replenished. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, soft against the skin, and the pillows were just the right height – I slept wonderfully. The hotel's Cantonese restaurant also serves delicious food. The location is fantastic, too, very lively. The Bund, Super Brand Mall, and IFC are all within a 10-minute walk, making it super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. I'd definitely stay here again next time."

The room has a smell of mouldy air con, or clothes not dried with sun kind of smell that lingered for long. They don’t change bedsheets or blanket covers unless requested (we stayed five nights). And after night 3 I requested cos it was dirty. Ordering food and collection of Taobao parcels were easy. Service staff were friendly. So all they need is really a Reno I guess. Oh there is no drop off area for hotel so getting on cabs or didi was a bit difficult but doable."

Location is not great, not walkable to many places and even the riverfront promenade here is not the greatest. Taxis to anywhere will take a while. But the rooftop does have a fantastic view. They could have designed a better space u p there as it is not cozy nor pretty with the fake grass the way it is now. Breakfast was so-so with the food cluttered in a small room that gets crowded easily. AC is strong on top of the food making it very cold. Room was okay, bed quite small and door with gaps leaking lots of light during the night bothered us. They offer you a gift if you leave a 5 star review during check-out. Not a good sign.."

We opted for breakfast, and the variety was excellent, catering to all tastes. We booked an executive room with a beautiful city view and views of landmarks. In the evenings, this room rate also included a selection of drinks, snacks, and alcoholic beverages."

The counter staffs are very friendly and helpful. Especially thanks to the housekeep auntie on level 5. She give us extra bottle water and coffee upon request and always kept a smiling face. Laundry room was good as the machine for both washing and drying was big. The hotel bed and pillow was firm and comfortable. Will definitely choose this hotel again."

Check-in was easy. Though early, they held my bags and have dining inside or nearby. Walking distance within many stops like the outdoor mall, X Tower, and Green Jade Buddah. Lots of bikes or taxis available.
Concierge and Housekeeping respectful. Bathroom amenities and views great. Comfortable bed. Breakfast nice and sufficient. Thanks for the Dragon Boat gift 🎁"

"We had an excellent stay at Youli Hotel. The location is very good as it is just few minutes away from everywhere we want to go in Shanghai. It is also very near to the Metro Station. Basically the location is 10 out 10! For muslims, u can easily walk to GuanGuanJi Halal Restaurant and Halal Hot Pot from the hotel. Below is also a Family Mart and across the stress there is Luckin.
The staffs are also very helpful and courteous. I would like to applaud all of them for the excellent customer service. We can easily contacy them via WeChat for all our needs.

It only takes a few steps to reach bustling shopping malls, local snack streets and various entertainment spots, allowing guests to easily experience Shanghai’s urban prosperity and trendy atmosphere. Whether for sightseeing, shopping or casual walks, the location brings great convenience throughout the trip.
In terms of transportation, the hotel enjoys extremely accessible traffic conditions. It is closely connected to Metro Line 2 and Line 10, two major urban subway lines. With convenient metro access, traveling to Shanghai Railway Station, Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport becomes incredibly time-saving and hassle-free. It is perfectly suitable for both business travelers and tourists who pursue efficient and smooth journeys.
The room experience also exceeded my expectations. The overall layout of the room is comfortable and cozy, and the highlight is the stunning night view outside the window. At night, the neon lights of downtown Shanghai light up the whole city, presenting a gorgeous and charming urban scenery. Sitting by the window and enjoying the beautiful night view is an extremely pleasant relaxation after a busy day of traveling and working.

They are always patient to answer guests’ questions and provide practical travel tips, creating a welcoming and comfortable check-in atmosphere.
