"The location is pretty good, with plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy to find food. The front desk service was a bit quiet, with minimal communication throughout. I'd advise everyone to try and avoid rooms at the very end of the hallway. We were assigned to the innermost room, right next to the cleaning staff's utility room, which wasn't a great experience. The room had a slight stuffy odor, possibly from being vacant for a long time. Soundproofing was mediocre; we could clearly hear the cleaning staff chatting in the hallway while trying to rest in the morning, which was disruptive. Overall, it's suitable for travelers who aren't particular about accommodation details and just need a brief stopover. If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable environment, I suggest communicating your room preference beforehand so you don't end up like us, only finding out after checking in. A nice touch is that they have a package room, so you can order deliveries before you arrive and pick them up later."

It's super convenient to get to the North Bund, and Raffles City is right across the street for easy dining options. For taxis, you'll need to go to the intersection nearby for pick-up/drop-off as you can't park directly at the main entrance. This was my first time in all my years using Trip.com that I had to show the order number to the front desk when checking in. Usually, all hotels just need your ID or the name on the reservation. It was quite a novel experience. Even overseas, when there's a language barrier, showing the confirmation letter is usually fine, but not here – you absolutely need the order number…"

"This hotel is truly thoughtful. On my check-out day, I was in such a hurry that I only realized I'd left a notebook full of important client notes in the desk drawer once I arrived at the high-speed rail station. I was frantic, as losing that notebook would mean the whole trip was a waste. I called the hotel, and the housekeeping staff quickly responded that they'd found it and asked how I'd like to retrieve it.
I explained that I had to catch a train to another city the next day and couldn't possibly go back. The front desk staff proactively offered, ”Could you send me your address? I'll drop by a courier service on my way home from work and send it via SF Express, shipping paid on delivery?” The very next afternoon, I received it. The notebook was securely wrapped in bubble wrap, and inside, there was a handwritten note that read: ”Wishing you a smooth business trip. Don't leave your important companion behind next time!”
It was a simple gesture, but the feeling of being taken care of was incredibly comforting. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast noodles were good. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip."
