"This was the finest of experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Even before our trip had begun, the holiday vibe had already started, 2 weeks prior to our flight. A member of hotel reception staff at the B&B in Sant Cugat, a beautiful soul, a lady by the name of Maria Faatemah had won us over with her swift responses to our queries and concerns. The more we responded, the more our mind and hearts were at ease. Always polite and courteous with so much manners and always ready to help us with whatever we presented her with. 2 weeks fast forward - We were welcomed with her sincere wholesome smile and she already knew who we were as soon as she saw is approaching the reception desk. This is someone who is connected with herself and showed is compassion from the get-go. She served us as though she was the leader and she didn't let us feel uncomfortable even though we didn't speak much Spanish. She showed us to our room and told us to feel free to ask her should we need anything. We had a slight situation with our air-condition unit and within 10 minutes she had that resolved by giving us an extra room until the maintenance man fixes the A/C. The second room was beautiful and I slept their for 2 days and it was a great experience. Faatemah called taxi's for us, ordered food for us, she translated Spanish to English and she even guided us towards the best tourist spots. It really felt like she had gone above and beyond, at no extra cost. Even the kids were saying they wanted to buy her something as a thank you present for her amazing service and beautiful mannerism. Faatemah was incredibly professional, compassionate and offered such a lovely service that we all fell in love with Spain (Barcelona) and would love to go back, just for experiencing this service again. Faatemah is much more than a lady behind the reception desk and I hope you all the best in the future and I hope you progress to become something bigger and better and that others are also receptive enough to appreciate you. "It's quite a distance from Barcelona city center. It takes about 20 minutes via the toll highway, or roughly half an hour if you avoid tolls. For those traveling by car, I find this travel time perfectly acceptable. After all, even the cheapest hotels in the city center are twice the price, and here, parking is free. Plus, there's a fast-charging station right next to the parking lot. The room facilities are pretty good too. A 5-minute drive across a bridge brings you to a large, convenient commercial center with stores like Carrefour, McDonald's, and Zara. You can even buy a meal there, heat it up in a microwave, and eat it right away – super convenient! The breakfast here is also quite good. While the offerings are pretty much the same daily, it's still very satisfying. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is excellent with great water pressure, making for a very pleasant shower experience. Overall, I'd only recommend this hotel if you're traveling by car. If not, you might want to save yourself the hassle."
