Twelve-foot ceilings and banks of windows add to the modern vibe of the space. The second bedroom is an intimate space that can sleep 4 in two full-over-full beds. There is also an additional single bed pallet that can be used in this room. The rug was handmade in Buenos Aires and is of soft chevron cowhide. Everything is pristine as it was all acquired with our recent remodel. The spring, summer and fall activities seem to happen more down-valley in terms of horseback riding, golf, fishing and hiking, and you are right in the center of it all! The main bus station is 1 blocks from our unit that you can take anywhere with buses leaving every 20 minutes. If you rent a car you do not have to worry about snow as you have a designated underground parking spot. On days we ski Aspen mountain, we typically valet at The Little Nell, and have a Apres ski cocktail and have our ticket validated, which makes it quite reasonable to park at the very base of the mountain. It is a terrific place to people watch and relax before heading back to our little sanctuary. You are steps from the bus stop, the best wine store in the valley, as well as two of the top-rated restaurants on the first floor! Jump on the bikes and head to the river or stroll to the 8 screen movie theater or the darling bowling alley that serves rack of lamb! We have done what we feel makes a space both exciting and comfortable to enjoy the best of the best in Colorado.
