"This hotel is right at the entrance to the scenic area, which was incredibly convenient for getting in early and beating the crowds. We went in at 9 AM and had the place practically to ourselves, with plenty of time to explore.
I really need to apologize to a young lady we met there. As we were driving back to the hotel as it was getting dark, a woman on an electric scooter came alongside us and asked if we were staying at the hotel. We thought she was trying to solicit business for another hotel, so we told her we already had a reservation. She kept asking if we were staying at 'Yijia' and explained how to park there. At the time, I couldn't remember the name of the hotel I'd booked, so I just ignored her. Then I quickly checked my phone and, sure enough, it was Yijia! We parked exactly as she'd instructed. The young lady then playfully said, 'I just told you all that, and you completely ignored me!' Hahahaha, my apologies!"

"This is my second night. I negotiated with the owner to upgrade to a twin room on the second floor. This room, on the second floor, has 1.8-meter twin beds, which should be suitable for families with two children. When traveling, the view is better; you can see into the distance and even see the neighbors' yards. You can hear the chickens crowing in the morning! However, it gets light quite late in Yunnan. There are several small restaurants run by locals in this village, but they don't have set menus; you have to discuss with the owner what to cook. The home-style dishes are decent, and the prices are cheapโaround ยฅ70 for two people, and you definitely won't be able to finish it all."

For example, the toilet was wobbly, the buttons were hard to press, the shower room was old, and the overhead showerhead splashed water everywhere. I suggest replacing them. The overall bathing experience was extremely poor."

However, it seemed to primarily cater to tour groups; the breakfast was basic, and the staff were washing dishes on the floor, which made me uncomfortable and raised my doubts about the restaurant's hygiene."

"The room had no windows, and the air quality was poor; a fishy smell was noticeable as soon as I entered. A cleaning staff member was nearby, and when I asked if they had disinfectant or air freshener, they just sprayed some floral water on it as a makeshift solution. The bathroom lacked a floor mat, toiletries, and disposable slippers. There were two large, boat-like pairs of plastic slippers in the shower; I don't know if the hotel didn't provide them or if the cleaning staff simply didn't replenish them, but empty boxes were also placed there. The room was generally clean, but there weren't enough hangers, and the sink tended to collect water. The smart toilet was fantastic!"

Miaomiaoxu๏ฝOn New Year's Eve, the beautiful girl at the hotel front desk invited us to their family banquet. The food was delicious and unforgettable. The owner of the hotel personally added a lot of dishes and corn juice for us. The food was very healthy. The hotel focuses on health care, and the facilities are great and intelligent. I am so lucky to have chosen this hotel. It made me feel the hospitality of the Yi people at the beginning of the new year. I really want to stay here and not leave. It is so comfortable. On the first day of the new year, the beautiful girl also made me a hearty breakfast.

The Domestic China TravelerGreat location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

Guest UserFor foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel.
Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site.
The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

It was a great trip. The hotel environment is great, quiet and poetic. I forgot to take pictures of the external environment. It is very suitable for a family. This time I brought elderly people and children. The front desk was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for free. The service was very good. , the required items were quickly delivered to the room after just one phone call. I will come back next time I have the opportunity.

Andrei_KuchmaThe location is very convenient. Bus 90 goes directly from the train station to this hotel. It's a 50-meter walk through the building's lobby (we left from here, too, and walked back to the train station. We left the hotel and boarded the bus directly. No need to walk and look for stops). It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the Stone Forest ticket office. And from there, the shuttle to the Stone Forest is a 2-3-minute walk. If you're coming, like us, for a day trip to the Stone Forest, the room is nice and affordable. Cleanliness is definitely a drawback. It hasn't been renovated in a while. But for this price, you shouldn't expect super cleanliness.

The hotel has complete accommodation facilities, clean and hygienic. There is a market in the surrounding environment, which is convenient and lively. The front desk service is enthusiastic. In the center of Shilin, very close to the night market street, there is also an underground parking lot, parking is convenient. The hotel has a high floor and a good view, but the shower head is loose and I dare not use it directly. . . There is also breakfast too general, but the whole is OK in the county.

now balaI always stay at Hongshan Lake Hotel when I visit Shilin; the quality is guaranteed. A business trip there was a wonderful surprise! The hotel has excellent facilities, and the conference rooms are spacious and professional, perfect for business activities. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with complete office facilities and a stable, smooth internet connection. After a busy day, a soak in the hot springs is incredibly relaxing and relieves fatigue. The breakfast is plentiful, and the service is attentiveโa top choice for business travel!

A nice simple hotel for anyone who is looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay. The place is somewhat away from the main road and the nights are really quiet, you can even hear the crickets! The check-in was fast and smooth and the lady at the reception professional and very friendly. The breakfast costs 15ยฅ and you can eat as much as you want.
