"We were checked in by Mr Kadeer, who informed us that the room I booked is located in the basement. He kindly offered to show us the room to ensure that we like it. The room was huge with a little courtyard for hanging your laundry. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good too.
When we were there, a few weddings took place. There was a public lotus lake outside the hotel but sad to say it was very much neglected otherwise it would have boosted the hotel’s location. If you happened to be there on a weekend, take a right turn from the hotel entrance and walk to the end of the road. Across the road you can find a busy street of eateries with gatherings of families and friends."

"The smart toilet experience is amazing. The smart toilet equipped in the hotel is definitely a highlight! The flushing force is strong and water-saving and environmentally friendly. The residue-free design makes the use experience very comfortable. The room is exquisitely designed and fully equipped. After checking in, I was attracted by the modern and simple style of the room at first sight. The original wood-colored furniture and warm-toned lighting create a warm atmosphere. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the fatigue disappears instantly after lying down; details such as smart curtains improve the quality of living. The room is very clean, even the corners are spotless, and the sound insulation effect is also excellent. No outside noise can be heard at night. The service is thoughtful and warm like home. From the front desk to the room service, the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff are impressive and must be requested.
The breakfast is rich and delicious: a buffet breakfast combining Chinese and Western styles, the ingredients are fresh, especially the freshly cooked noodles are delicious.
Fruits and drinks are provided free of charge in the room.
Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is a high-quality choice worth staying in repeatedly!"

"Facilities: Very good, the facilities and equipment are quite new. The air conditioning, hot water, and internet all worked perfectly.
Hygiene: Excellent. My friends and I, all girls, felt that the cleaning staff did a wonderful job. Given the intense sun in Turpan, the room felt infused with sunshine.
Environment: It's a very distinctive ancient city. Guests can also enjoy free sand therapy. The ladies at the front desk were lovely and explained the precautions for sand therapy. There's also free black tea and plum juice at the front desk, which you can fill up in your own bottle – very thoughtful! After sand therapy, you can't play in the water, otherwise I would have loved to swim in the small pool next to the sand therapy area.
Service: Beyond words! The ladies at the front desk are truly beautiful and incredibly gentle. They also perform the evening show, though they mentioned it's not a nightly occurrence. We were really lucky! Five-star rating for sure. This is the best value-for-money B&B. Thumbs up!"

"I came to Xinjiang and chose Haichang Hotel in Turpan, because I looked at the location and listened to it. Next to the national road, in the middle of the two large scenic spots, there is a large parking lot at the door. The lobby gives people a particularly comfortable feeling. The decoration style is particularly good. The business standard room room is also comfortable. Dinner was eaten in the restaurant on the 6th floor. The restaurant was quite big, the environment was super good, especially comfortable, the service attitude of the restaurant waiter was good, especially polite, very respectful of us, especially the restaurant manager Aju Guli was particularly warmly received, we ate in the box, Aqi Guli also brought the waiter in to sing to us. We were very happy. On the second morning, the manager personally sent us a nutritious breakfast. It was really touching. The breakfast was very intimate. Xinjiang specialty dried fruits, decimal ethnic pastries, fruits, especially rich. We are grateful to the young and beautiful A A Guli. To be honest, we really enjoyed the 5-star service in Haichang. We can give a 5-star praise. In the future, I will have to live in Haichang. I hope that Haichang's business will get better and better, so that the boss can make money."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with Xiyou Night Market situated right downstairs. Parking is convenient. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a proactive room upgrade. The room was fully equipped, with ample hot water for showers, and even a mouse pad on the desk – a thoughtful touch! Welcome fruit was provided. They offer two washing machines and two dryers, conveniently located on the same floor as the breakfast area. The breakfast spread was lavish, offering a wide variety of options, and the service was impeccable. Overall, a truly excellent stay with absolutely no complaints!"

"This hotel was truly amazing!
First, I have to praise the location. It's a prime spot—right outside the door is a bustling food street, and even an evening stroll lets you sample all sorts of local specialties. It's perfect for foodies! Transportation is also incredibly convenient, whether hailing a taxi or taking the bus, making getting around a breeze. I stayed there for two days straight to complete my Turpan trip.
The hotel's parking lot is huge, so those driving don't have to worry about parking, which is a huge plus.
The room was well-equipped with everything, including air conditioning, hot water, and WiFi. It was all very easy and comfortable to use. What really impressed me was the cleanliness. From the bed linens to the bathroom, everything was spotlessly clean, making for a truly reassuring stay. The breakfast was also fantastic. 👍🏻
All in all, it was a great value. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area."

"The room is very cool, and the e-sports is great. I came to Turpan with my friends and stayed in a very cost-effective hotel. Four people live in 85 square meters, there are 3 bathrooms, and there are computers for playing. Fried chicken is nice!
In addition, I would like to commend the three front desk guys: Waili, Ai Zihaier, and Mai Erdan. Their service is particularly good, and they are also handsome and stylish. I feel the enthusiasm of the people of Xinjiang!"

"I did extensive research as I was traveling alone with three elderly people and wanted a lively yet safe place to stay. I'd read reviews mentioning poor air conditioning and noise, which made me hesitate between this hotel and another for quite a while. However, upon arrival, the hotel upgraded our room. It featured a balcony with a grape arbor, which the elderly absolutely adored, calling it the most pleasant room. It was great! I didn't encounter any of the problems others had mentioned."

PPsymondExcellent facilities, service and breakfast. One thing to note is the hotel's air-conditioning is centralised, so it stays at 23°C and it got rather hot at night (25°C), and we weren't able to change the setting in the room even though it has a control unit on the wall. Another to note is that this hotel advertises that it provides pick up and drop off service to the train station, however this might need to be changed or removed because when queried, we were told their transport isn't able to enter the train station. No worries though as the hotel is walking distance from the train station, and they offered to send someone to help with our bags if necessary. Otherwise the staff were all friendly and we had a good stay.

BBengbengdetudouThis was hands down the best hotel of our Xinjiang trip! The design and decor are absolutely fantastic. It offers incredible value for money! The hotel also provides sand therapy and even has some lovely small animals to visit. It's kept impeccably clean, completely free of any unpleasant odors! The overall hygiene is excellent, and the mattress is super comfortable – neither too soft nor too hard. I woke up feeling completely refreshed the next morning! The breakfast spread was also incredibly rich and varied! The only minor downside was that the projector screen in the room was broken. Turpan is absolutely an underrated gem of a city! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit; it's truly fantastic!

KKevan KeeganConveniently located about 20 minutes walk from Turpan Museum and under half an hour taxi ride from airport, train station and Jiaohe, the hotel was great value w very big room and bed, nice walk-in shower and very helpful front desk staff.
Breakfast was disappointing being a massive restaurant and by 9.45 most of the Chinese buffet items had finished and staff were slow to top up. There was no tea or coffee available at breakfast either.
The coffee shop in the lobby looked very enticing and comfortable, but this is a separate franchise and for some reason was not open all day or even at 11.00 in the morning.

GGuest UserWhat a wonderful place to stay! Even though we arrived very late in the evening, they still cooked dinner for us. The room was spotlessly clean, with lovely decor and had everything we needed. For a peaceful getaway, this is the place. The manager and his family were delightful - so kind, friendly and helpful. After a day out sight-seeing, we loved relaxing on the hotel balcony and looking up at the amazing rock formations only a stone's throw away. We stayed three nights and hope to come back some day. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

22morrowsworldThis 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast.
On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests.
I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days.
Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor).
There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.
