"I read so many reviews before booking and finally settled on this one. The location is fantastic, right next to Yueyang Tower Scenic Area, and you step right out to Dongting Lake. I originally booked a standard room, but when I arrived, the front desk offered an upgrade to a lake-view room for an extra charge, which I immediately took. It turns out it was totally worth it! The room's floor-to-ceiling windows face Dongting Lake directly, offering an incredible view. You can watch the sunset right from your bed – it's absolutely stunning. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The lobby on the ground floor and the rooftop terrace are both very appealing, and there's even a swimming pool on the third floor. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and gave me some snacks. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and Yueyang Tower is just a few minutes' walk away. My experience this time was excellent; I highly recommend staying here when you visit Yueyang."

The staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team and the lobby attendants who managed parking, were all incredibly polite and enthusiastic. They greeted us proactively and were always ready to assist, making us truly feel at home. Despite being in a prime location in Yueyang city center, parking was surprisingly convenient; staff reserved spots for booked guests and patiently guided us. While the breakfast selection wasn't vast, the food was delicious, and the restaurant staff were attentive, ensuring we ate well. The hotel's location is also excellent, with attractions like Yueyang Tower, Bianhe Street, and Baling Square just a 5 RMB taxi ride away. Plus, the front desk offers complimentary American coffee. The room is large, the equipment is new and complete. "Public transportation: Wangjiahe Bridge is a bus stop downstairs, and it is easy to find a designated Didi taxi station. Room service: All feedback about the electric kettle was quickly resolved. The room was equipped with black and green tea and multiple bottles of water, which is very friendly to tea drinkers. The room type and area are reasonably arranged, and there are travel guides nearby on the wall, which saves a lot of brains. Environment: You can see the beautiful Wangjiahe River from the floor-to-ceiling window. There is a BBK shopping center within 1 km of the surrounding area, and 3 well-known Hunan restaurant chains. Buffet breakfast: Western pastries are very cherry blossom-colored, and I couldn't help but eat two more pieces. In short, with children, food, accommodation and transportation are all taken care of. The best part was the mattress; I usually have trouble sleeping in new beds, but I slept like a baby until morning. Food delivery robots brought orders right to the door, and the gym was open 24/7 – a dream come true for anyone who appreciates the little things. When checking out, the lady at the front desk even gave me a bottle of water for my journey. Because of this thoughtfulness, I'll be coming back to this hotel without hesitation every time I visit this city. No one can stop me!"

"The breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel service was very attentive; they even brought us fruit and snacks. Parking was convenient, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The only minor flaw was that the air freshener in the hotel was a bit too strong for my liking, though that might not bother everyone. When we checked out, the customer service staff were very friendly and explained things thoroughly. Overall, I was quite satisfied."

After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Yueyang hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"I was here for a business trip, and this highly-rated hotel lives up to its reputation. The location is decent, very close to the high-speed rail station, and there's a shopping mall right across the street, which was convenient for grabbing a Luckin Coffee.
Upon entering, I was offered hot tea, and they even brought my luggage to the room – the service was incredibly warm. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, plus they offer complimentary laundry service. The breakfast noodle soup was delicious, and they had coffee, along with both Chinese and Western options. While the variety wasn't huge, it was certainly sufficient.
Overall, it's excellent value for money, and the service is outstanding. The high ratings are definitely well-deserved."

IInvinsibleEver since I lodged with Dolanda V, I was converted into a fan. This Dolanda S also did not disappoint.
The lobby was STYLISH crazy. I can stay there whole day long. The room was embellished with many elegant details like curvy edges too. And that doesn’t compromise on the comfort: the mattress was super comfy, pillow came in two different style (one fat, one flat). So much love!
It also comes with a free living/laundry room. The free breakfast was enjoyable with good tasty selection.
The room was free from smoke, though some cigarette smell was somehow leaked into the room from the bathroom (through the central ventilation I guess?) in the midnight.

Staying inside the scenic area means you'll have access to a luxurious electric shuttle service provided by the guesthouse. Wake up to the sunrise by the lake and relax in the afternoon, enjoying snacks and tea. While the guesthouse doesn't have a breakfast restaurant, you can pre-order breakfast from the front desk – steamed buns, mantou, shumai, corn, eggs, porridge, and more are all available. The service is very attentive.

It is also very close to the city center and it is convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and there are many types. GGuest UserThe hotel was generally speaking clean. Rooms were fairly quiet, the downside is the motion sensors for the bathroom. At night time, it is very bright when lights turn on. I stayed for two nights, on two separate occasions. The second time, the room floor was dirty, I don't think it was mopped or vacuumed, the room was not ready. Wifi is also an issue for me, I could not connect to it on my phone, I have been told that most ppl didn't have problem connecting to it.
Location is very close to the high speed rail station, that's why I chose it. Overall, it was a good stay.

Choosing the right hotel for this trip was absolutely crucial! The hotel's location is superb, right next to the subway station/commercial area (can be replaced with actual location), making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. The lobby decor is minimalist and stylish, and the front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth throughout, and they patiently provided local travel tips, which left a great impression~
The room exceeded my expectations even more! It was spacious and bright, with a well-planned layout that didn't feel cramped. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress offered just the right support. Coupled with excellent soundproofing, I slept soundly all night until morning. The cleanliness was impeccable; even under the bed and in the bathroom corners, everything was spotless. The bathroom amenities were high quality, and the hot water supply was ample and stable—attention to detail was evident everywhere.
The hotel facilities were also comprehensive; the high-speed WiFi was consistently smooth, perfect for working or streaming shows without a hitch. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with both Chinese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. Throughout my entire experience, whether it was the service, cleanliness, or facilities, I couldn't find a single fault. It offers excellent value for money! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time~

YYouliyouliThe overall evaluation is quite satisfactory. Out of 10, I'd give it 9 to 9.5. The two room types originally booked were quite average, and the hotel upgraded them free of charge and also arranged adjoining rooms. This is better. I hope I can stick to this habit if the housing situation allows. The overall hygiene of the room is fine, the toilet in the bathroom is very clean, and it is an electronic toilet, which is very convenient to use, but you can consider putting one or two packs of toilet traps, which would be better. The room terrace has a great environment and is located in a holiday park, so I took some nice photos. The bedding in the room is relatively clean and soft. The pillow has a slight odor, but it does not affect the use (it is my personal factor and I am more concerned about it. It is recommended to dry it in the sun). The room was a little lacking. There is a bathtub in the room with blinds, but the window pieces are bent, probably damaged by other customers. There is a gap when closing it. It is recommended to maintain and replace it regularly. The room is still soundproof. Maybe it’s because there’s too much glass. The staff are generally friendly. The small car is also convenient. Recommended stay.
