"I read so many reviews before booking and finally settled on this one. The location is fantastic, right next to Yueyang Tower Scenic Area, and you step right out to Dongting Lake. I originally booked a standard room, but when I arrived, the front desk offered an upgrade to a lake-view room for an extra charge, which I immediately took. It turns out it was totally worth it! The room's floor-to-ceiling windows face Dongting Lake directly, offering an incredible view. You can watch the sunset right from your bed – it's absolutely stunning. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The lobby on the ground floor and the rooftop terrace are both very appealing, and there's even a swimming pool on the third floor. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and gave me some snacks. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and Yueyang Tower is just a few minutes' walk away. My experience this time was excellent; I highly recommend staying here when you visit Yueyang."

The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, plus they offer complimentary laundry service. The breakfast noodle soup was delicious, and they had coffee, along with both Chinese and Western options. While the variety wasn't huge, it was certainly sufficient.
