"The hotel is super convenient in the old town, close to everything, with many great restaurants within walking distance. I slept really well at night; it was quiet, and the room was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure – very refreshing. The in-room button controls were very advanced, much better than other hotels where the panel lights stay on and disturb sleep. The hotel offers laundry service; just a call to the front desk and a staff member from your floor will pick up your clothes, wash them until they're fragrant, and bring them back to your room. Parking is available in roadside spots very close by and convenient. The breakfast quality was also good, and the timing was perfect from 7 AM to 10 AM, allowing for a lie-in.
The only, and I mean only, drawback is that, perhaps in pursuit of high water pressure, you can hear everything clearly from adjacent rooms when they use water, especially the sink. You can even feel the walls vibrating. I stayed for two nights, and luckily, my neighbors slept early and woke late, so there wasn't much disturbance after 9 PM. However, if you happen to have neighbors who sleep late and wake early, it could be quite uncomfortable.
Oh, and the two young ladies at the front desk were both very warm and excellent!"

"After taking the ferry from Haikou, we didn't arrive at Xuwen Port until 3 AM. Then, we encountered heavy fog on the highway. Exhausted from staying up late and driving, I searched for a Hampton Inn nearby and decided to pull off the highway for some rest. Although we didn't check in until past 5 AM and checked out just after noon to continue our journey, everyone had a great sleep and woke up feeling fully refreshed. A big thank you to the front desk staff for their warm and thoughtful service. The Hampton Inn's clean, simple rooms and warm service were truly a pleasant surprise."

Plus, it's super convenient with a Wanda Plaza right downstairs for food, drinks, and entertainment. The value for money is excellent, and the room's features exceeded my expectations. "Staff throughout the hotel was very helpful and friendly from the second we walked into the lobby, to the cleaners or the catering staff onsite.
The hotel itself was very clean, with attention to detail in every aspects of the design and finishing. In general I would say it has a much higher quality standards than most multi chain contemporary style hotels I have stayed it throughout China.
The hotel offered a complimentary tea and mid night snack with the booking which was very decent as a light snack and the breakfast had a good selection of foods to choose from.
The location itself is very good for the beach as only minutes away. Only downside is the limited selection of eating venues local to the hotel."

"The hotel is not demanding, but the soundproofing of this apartment is really not average (I asked to clean the opposite room in the morning, each room is separated by plates), and people outside can hear it when they walk, it seems that there is no door, and they are awakened by the sound of the new door opening in the middle of the night. By the way, the sea view room basically can't see the sea, because the tree outside the window is too high, you can see the street and the road. "The room was very clean, and the location was great with plenty of restaurants nearby. On our second day, a typhoon hit, causing a five-day work stoppage in Zhanjiang, with all businesses and services shut down, including takeout. The hotel provided food for guests on the second floor. The hot, freshly cooked beef brisket noodles by the sea were delicious, and the staff comforted us while cooking them, soothing our anxieties about the typhoon disrupting our plans. The service was warm and thoughtful, excellent overall, a fantastic experience."

The hardware facilities were very complete. The materials used were the best. The bedding was also very comfortable. The service staff made me feel very comfortable. When I left, I also made an appointment to send me to the station. The experience was very good. This is a veritable 5-star hotel in Zhanjiang. The design is old-school and luxurious. Not to mention the morning tea. The soufflé is so big that you have to order it if you don't have a table. In general, it has the taste of the old Cantonese morning tea. "I really love this hotel, it's definitely one of the top ones in Zhanjiang. The high-floor indoor and outdoor swimming pools are amazing, especially the outdoor one with its incredible sea views. The sea view rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are huge too. The hotel's buffet ingredients are decent, though the food isn't kept warm very well, and the taste is generally just average. However, the cheong fun at breakfast is excellent. It's super convenient to step out of the hotel and take a stroll across the street; the scenery there is lovely."

From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every interaction was friendly and made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The room was immaculately clean and comfortable and had all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I was impressed by how well-maintained everything was. After a long day of exploring the city, it was the perfect place to unwind.
One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic breakfast. There was a wide selection of delicious options, both local and international, catering to different tastes. It really gave me a great start to my day.

GGuest UserThis trip with kids was truly heartwarming! We arrived late, exhausted, and worried about our children getting enough rest. Unexpectedly, the front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing I was traveling with my child, they proactively upgraded us to a family twin room!
The room was incredibly playful, with colorful cartoon-themed decor and a small tent and toys for the kids. The kids were thrilled the moment they walked in, completely forgetting their travel fatigue and having a blast. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and there were even slippers specifically for the kids—so many thoughtful details.
From this stay, I could tell you the hotel's exceptional service and thoughtful consideration for every guest. Not only did they alleviate our worries, but they also gave our children an unexpected treat. I highly recommend this hotel to parents traveling with kids—it's a surefire choice! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip!

GGuest UserThis hotel has multiple two-story guest buildings. They do provide free shuttle for traveling among these buildings. However, the buildings are aged. There is no security guard. You can easily enter any building even if you are not a guest. The room where we stayed, there was always some bad toilet smell. They did offer me to switch to a different room but I decided to stay there (too much work to pack all the stuff).
There are not many options for breakfast. All the staff look like robots. They don't smile at all. It feels like they want you to quickly finish the meal and get out of there. In general, this hotel is not professional enough for charging this much. Hope they can improve.

The hotel service and room environment were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, I was misled by the location:
1. There is no proper drop-off area at the main entrance, which makes access a bit inconvenient.
2. Although the hotel is named after Wanda Plaza, it actually takes about 10 minutes to walk there, so it’s not as close as expected.
That said, I want to give special thanks to the hotel staff. My daughter accidentally left behind her stuffed toy, and the staff promptly called us and arranged to have it mailed back. We are truly grateful for their thoughtfulness and care.

LLianpuA really great experience. The hotel is very close to Chikan Old Street, and right next to a large shopping mall. It's clean, tidy, comfortable, and convenient. The hot water is excellent. It's not far from the high-speed rail station, and transportation is smooth.

GGuest UserThis is the best accommodation at the southernmost tip of mainland China. I stayed in Fangpo Village the day before, and the environment was not as beautiful as here. It is only 300 meters away from the lighthouse.
The facilities are very new, the smart devices are well received, and the bathroom supplies and bedding are very good. There is no TV in the room, but the sleep was quiet and comfortable. The food is also good and drinks are provided. The housekeeper worked very hard to prepare our dinner, thank you very much.
A small suggestion would be to have a cup of coffee in the room. Also, there are flies in the room in this season. I wonder if there is any way to improve it.

It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Chikan Old Street. There are many buses to the Golden Beach, the French Minister's summer site and other places.

The newly renovated room is relatively large, and there is a large table for more than two people to use at the same time. The decoration is stylish and the color is simple and elegant.
