"We had an excellent experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely male receptionist who made us feel genuinely welcome. Even though we arrived 30 minutes before the official check-in time, he kindly arranged an early check-in for us, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.
We were given a room on the 5th floor, and it exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, with several local supermarkets nearby, including one just a few doors down.
The main tourist attractions are a bit too far to reach on foot, but they’re very easy to access by train. However, if you don’t mind walking, as we didn’t, Sagrada Família is only about a 25-minute walk away, and many other sights can also be reached on foot without any trouble.
The hotel provides a card to indicate whether you’d like housekeeping, and every time we selected “yes,” the housekeeping team did an outstanding job. We stayed for four nights, and the service was consistently excellent. All the receptionists were incredibly friendly and polite, always greeting us with warm, welcoming smiles.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel."

"Very nice hotel! The room was modern and clean, the stuff is very kind and allowed to check in a bit earlier, also helped me either some small requests and was very hospitable in general. I appreciate that a lot! Location is in walking distance from the metro station. There are different restaurants, cafes and supermarkets around. Breakfast was diverse and tasty, with a lot of choices like eggs, sausages, bacon, ham, cheese, vegetables, bakery etc.I recommend!"

"The hotel is very far from the city center, at least an hour by metro each way, which was exhausting. The location is really inconvenient. The rooms were clean, but the service was just okay. We reported the broken hairdryer many times, and every time we had to go down to ask for one. Breakfast is overpriced and not worth it for what you get."

"I loved it here! The rooms are very nice and cosy. Clean too! The room service does a great job. They come at about 10-11 am every day, you can always ask them for something specific like don't make the bed, but wash the floor - no problem. If smth does not work, just tell the reception - they'll send someone to fix it soon enough. The staff is kind and friendly. I also had my breakfast here the entire week: great veggies and fruit, all sorts of pastry, ham, cheese - all fresh and what's cooked is done very well. That is me not even mentioning how great the inner yard view is when you're taking your morning coffee)) And make sure to check out the rooftop! Loved to sit there with my PC and work. "Hotel is very close to the airport, so getting to and from was a breeze. Hotel seems a bit on the older side, but is quite self contained, with decent buffet breakfast.
However, it is quite far from any amenities like supermarkets, any other food besides the hotel restaurants, and no sight seeing spots nor shopping without needing to travel further into the city.
It is great if you are there to visit the Skyfall Nightclub or attending an exhibition at the hall attached to the hotel, but otherwise, I would suggest a hotel closer to the main city areas."

"My plans changed so needed a last minute hotel in Barcelona, this was a reasonable price and I was given a newly refurbished room which was absolutely stunning, the room was massive and well decorated, the bathroom was very stylish and the bed was so comfortable. It had plenty of amenities like a toothbrush, sponge, shower caps and shoe polisher which was great. I would highly recommend if you don’t mind being outside the centre - the area isn’t anything special but there is transport very near by."

"Being right across from the Sagrada Familia was absolutely incredible! The hotel had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and it was spotlessly clean. While the breakfast was decent, the rooftop service and views were outstanding. Getting around was incredibly convenient. Plus, the Malatang spot right outside the entrance, to the right, was really authentic and affordable."

YYunxingtianxiaThis hotel truly has it all! Located conveniently on a corner, it's perfectly situated for easy access to dining and shopping. I even got to enjoy Cheese99, a popular spot, every day. Plus, it's within walking distance of Gaudí's masterpieces: Sagrada Família (25-30 minutes), Casa Batlló (15-20 minutes), and Casa Milà (10-15 minutes).
The service deserves a special mention. They were able to book tickets for a football match, and I was incredibly lucky to catch Barcelona playing Copenhagen at home. This included round-trip transfers from Camp Nou to the hotel. Although I interacted with four different staff members for inquiries, confirmation, payment, and transfers (due to different shifts), they all maintained excellent communication throughout. It made for an unforgettable and wonderful evening. I truly experienced the magic of football – the players' agility, their teamwork, varied passing, and the unpredictable, thrilling score changes. The stadium was packed with fans, their cheers and enthusiasm palpable, singing and dancing with genuine passion for the sport! ⚽

AARC5555The hotel is very new and has nice rooms with a great view on the higher floors. Especially the balcony is nice. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with all necessities like a safe or a hairdryer. For special equipment like a kettle you need only ask at reception.
The check in was quick and convenient, rooms can be reached quickly by elevator. There is one restaurant and one Café, the breakfast buffet in the restaurant is rich and tasty.
Also the rooftop bar with an indoor and outdoor are including the small infinity pool is great, but I imagine it being crowded during high season.
The location of the hotel is decent yet not perfect. It is roughly a 5-10 min walk to the nearest Tram or Subway station (probably El Maresme Forum) and there is also a big shopping mall. The beach is a 20 min walk, alternatively you can use bus H16 only 5 min from the hotel to get to most beach areas along the coast. There are also some small shops and bars nearby, but not the best. Now the downside, the hotel seems to be next to a rundown living quarter with shady people hanging around.
To get from the hotel to the city by subway or tram, plan around 25-30 min.
The service was friendly and the room was cleaned very well every day. Only once it happened that at around 11:30 a hotel employee knocked our door angrily and said loudly „Checkout“, but we have booked for several more days. He apologized after I told him, obviously he got the wrong room, but still this communication error shouldn’t happen in a 4star hotel. Also one day we didn’t receive the free bottle of water even though we disposed of the previous empty one. Besides that, everything was good.
All in all I would recommend this hotel for its nice views over the city, the new and clean rooms and the competitive prices. The city as well as the beach require 15-30 minutes travel time on public transportation, so a Hola Barcelona card is recommended.

GGuest UserVery good location, lots of restaurants near by and within comfortable walking distance to attractions including Gaudi’s well known church, the Basílica de la Sagrada Família.
Room is good size, with separated shower and toilet. Room attendant is very nice. We stayed 4 nights and may reserve it again if we’re going to Barcelona in the future.
The only downside is the elevator is a bit smaller.

GGuest UserWhile the price booked via Ctrip was quite affordable at the time, I still wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel had an indescribable, unpleasant fragrance, and the air conditioning unit also emitted a strange smell, which was simply unbearable. My husband wanted to leave on the very first day of our stay, but having already paid, we decided to tough it out. There are some restaurants, supermarkets, and eateries nearby. Taxis are sometimes easy to find, but at other times they're scarce. To fellow Chinese travelers, if you have other options, I'd strongly advise against staying here!

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

The vicinity of the hotel is also full of tourist attractions, but it was easy to get around the tourist attractions because it was right next to the subway station. However, it seems that the tourist tax has risen, and a payment of 16000 yen was made locally separate from the accommodation fee for 3 family members for 3 nights.
